The Chateau d’Urbilhac is a wonderful place to relax and have a great French dinner, too! The swimming pool was amazing and the surroundings breathtaking. For those who appreciate a nice walk in the parc it is a perfect spot to enjoy and to breeze in fresh, clean air. Absolutely love it! Congratulations for the friendly hosts for such a warm welcome. We had a wonderful wedding at the chateau. The venue is stunning, Sylvie and Claude are very warm, friendly and always up for a chat. They give excellent recommendations and they don't hesitate to help you organise the big day. We will definitely come back to stay at the Château d’Urbilhac.

I have stayed over the years in a number of historical French châteaux but this hotel, on many acres , was like a trip back in time . My room was tastefully decorated in antiques from the period that the property was built ( early 19th century ) . I arrived in mid May when the weather was perfect to walk around the grounds or swim in the pool . I don’t speak French well but the wonderful owner was gracious and very talkative despite my basic abilities . The dinner was fantastic and featured fresh vegetables and herbs from the property. Despite being an old building my room was well appointed with a form mattress and a large clean bathroom . I wish I could have stayed longer !

Etape en Ardèche sur le chemin du retour ,quel heureux choix. Nous avons tout apprécié, le cadre, les chambres mais par dessus tout la gentillesse de nos hôtes dont l'authenticité est à souligner. Sylvie est une excellente cuisinière ce qui ne gâte rien et son époux tout à fait disponible. Même des étrangers - pourtant de passage comme nous- ne s'y sont pas trompés puisqu'ils ont décidé in petto de réserver pour leur mariage!!!

Un lieu magnifiquement entretenu avec des propriétaires adorables. On y a passé 2 jours formidables, chargés d’émotions familiales. La table d’hôte était délicieuse. On reviendra bien évidemment !

Le lieu est fabuleux, bien tenu. Le dîner impeccable, le petit déjeuner varié et de grande qualité. Les propriétaires sont d'une efficacité redoutable en plus d'être attentifs et hyper gentils. A refaire très vite !

j'ai adoré ! Le château est impressionnant, dans un site vraiment sublime, très jolies chambres au mobilier classique et raffiné, piscine grandiose, et accueil agréable et sans façons. On dîne, sur la terrasse ou sous la véranda, ce qu'a cuisiné la maîtresse des lieux avec les produits du potager ou de la région et c'est très bon.
