The Uplands Apartments

Spotlessly clean apartment. We opted for the 5 bed duplex and found it to be spacious and well appointed. Staff very helpful with regards a cot for our little one and an added touch of a little teddy bear in their cot was lovely. Also a high chair was left for us. Good hospitality tray to get you started (milk, cornflakes, tea & coffee) especially as we arrived late. Good, concise instructions for arrival. Cleaning staff couldn’t be more obliging when I asked for extra towels and bin bags on our 3rd day. The cleaner was very helpful, polite & mannerly. We stayed for 7 days and the apartment was serviced once in that time. The only suggestion I would make would be for a little vacuum cleaner but maybe that’s because we have a messy toddler! A coffee machine/cafetière would’ve been a lovely bonus but with a wealth of lovely coffee shops all around the island, it wasn’t essential. Would highly recommend and happily stay again.

Well I had high expectations for the Uplands from the reviews and the pics. Not only were these met but exceeded considerably. What a magnificent place to stay. We were allocated Apartment 11. We collected the key and opened the door and both of us were stunned at how big it was. We didn’t realise it would be more like a house than an apartment, it’s so spacious. Lovely big living/dining room, perfect kitchen and an upstairs bedroom ( with a king size and a single ) and a bathroom with bath and shower. It was all clean, tidy and very well appointed. There was tea, coffee, water and milk which was a welcome sight after a delayed flight. All in all we were very happy with the accommodation and our stay. Highly recommended

The apartments are very comfortable, cosy and warm, with easily adjustable heating. There are plenty of windows to bring in fresh air on summery days. Very quiet location - and no noise was detected from neighbouring visitor’s rooms. Easy parking, and a 20 minute walk into central St Helier. Modern and clean laundry facilities - service staff are very polite and helpful. Paintwork is a little worn in places, so a refresh of these would be a good idea. The kitchen contains most utensils needed for any meal preparation.

Everything about this property ticked all our boxes .Well looked after and maintained,we would be more than happy to stay there again. Thankyou .

Cosy and clran Home from home accommodation. Clean and warm . Just enough items in kitchen although a few more mugs would be useful when being lazy and not wanting to wash all the time !

Great base for a family visiting the island, where you want more independence and space than a hotel
