"What a gem this place was to bring us back to the 80’s/90’s style. The host was such a character and so polite with stories to tell! The place was spotless and we loved the fact the decor reminds us of how our homes styles were when we were growing up! Loved the history of the place & certainly would come back again. We were lucky to be given a seaview room & it was nice to be woken up with a beautiful sunrise."

"Good location, paid £8.50 extra for breakfast. Advised breakfast was served 8am to 9:30am Room very cold on arrival, did not get warm until late evening. Not helped by large window not closing properly so gap letting cold wind in. Had to use towels to try and close the gap. Went down for breakfast at 8am, no one around, waited until 8:40 when owners arrived. Apologised for delay -would have been polite to let me know no one would be available until that time. "

One of the towels was very dirty; when I told the landlord this at check-out, they seemed to be chatting with other guests and were ignored. They also couldn't even provide an extra blanket, even though there weren't many rooms available that day."
