21C Museum Hotel St Louis

Love it a lot. I even extended my stay. The breakfast is also very yummmm!

This is a very nice hotel with a good location. It was very clean although in the bathroom the painters left splashes of paint on the floor and in the shower. Plus all of us said there was a coffee machine in the rooms with coffee but no cups so you had to go downstairs and purchase coffee. It’s a pricey hotel but we would stay again. The museum upstairs is very nice.

Location in proximity to city attractions is amazing 5/5. Location in terms of safety is 2/5. There isn’t a covered secured lot for your car and I was approached by many people asking me for money while taking a walk around the building. Service is hit or miss. When I arrived, and attempted to open my car door, I was accosted by the valet who yelled at me and asked me what I was TRYING to do. I told him I was checking in to the hotel. And he was aggressively unpleasant, seemingly angry that I had arrived. Conversely, the valet attendant the next day was polite and wonderful. The front desk was nice but did not review any of the amenities nor offer any information about the hotel, which is a shame. Nice but inattentive and uninterested. The service at both Idol Wolf and Good Press were 5/5. The food at both were 5/5. The hotel itself is gorgeous. There’s art set in an old gym. The renovation is well done. Enjoyed it very much. The view from the room was also very nice. The room itself was standard with a few attention to detail things needing addressed. Such as broken handles and non working bathroom fixtures. Overall would recommend this hotel because it is unique. Big plus - they allow pets!!! Yes!

This is my 3rd 21c I’ve stayed at and my favorite so far! Everything was lovely and charming and Idol Wolf, the restaurant, was superb! Thank you for a fantastic weekend!

Location is not good..

Nice stay at 21c St. Louis The valet and front desk staff were great! Everyone was friendly and helpful, really created a welcoming environment. The overnight parking is a little pricey, but they took good care of our car and offered a speedy retrieval when needed. Parking in the area is limited, and while there is some street parking, wasn’t sure it was secure enough for an overnight. The hotel amenities were wonderful. The indoor pool and hot tub were great, along with a really nice gym. All facilities were really clean. Be sure to check out the art galleries on the second floor. The gallery space was some of the best we’ve seen at a 21c Hotel. Free bottled water with easy refill stations was a plus. Our one critique was that our room carpet and bathroom floor could’ve used a better cleaning, and the rooms are showing some wear and tear. Not horrible, but we stayed here about two years ago for the first time, and the room was extremely clean and well cared for. Hopefully, they’ll pay better attention to this because it’s a nice hotel in a cool building and it would be a shame to let it fall into disrepair.
