Good overnight stop on our way back towards the channel. Spacious room for a budget hotel, quiet with blackout blinds. Full bath with shower, kettle and a courtesy tray was a welcome addition. We had a good night’s sleep after eating in the restaurant. We had pre-booked and paid for bed and breakfast but next morning I felt poorly so did not want any breakfast. The choice given was excellent so it was a shame. We didn’t need to leave until late morning so went to breakfast about 8.30, breakfast ends at 9 a.m. My husband was pleased to find scrambled eggs and bacon but said it was cold. I decided to take a couple of small pieces of French stick filled with a slice of ham to eat a bit later if I felt able but the owner remonstrated with me and told me I could only eat it there. I tried to explain I had not eaten anything as I wasn’t well nor had a drink but he was adamant. So I ate a single slice of toast with jam. I could understand his attitude if I had eaten a full breakfast and then tried to take extra food out but felt he was very inflexible. It was a disappointment to spoil an otherwise nice stay.

Was really unsure about this hotel but was good. Bed really comfy, air con cold. Restaurant very nice with good wine and beers . It is basic but for a stopover it’s fine. McDonald’s, intermarche, restaurants / bistro nearby and secure parking.

We stayed here for one night due to an issue with Drivers Hours on a school trip due to delays with the ferry crossing at Dover. The hotel was more than adequate for one night and the rooms had a TV, Kettle which added to the enjoyment of the room. The hotel is near a local supermarket and McDonalds which was useful as well. Would stay again if we had the need too.

Hotel used to be a Campanile. A bit shabby but room was warm, kettle and drinks provided. We were grateful to Jason who was running the place single-handed on a quiet Sunday night. He welcomed us and prepared our dinner which we enjoyed with a good bottle of wine. One gripe - signage to hotel is poor. Thanks to Googlr

De passage pour le week-end nous cherchions un hôtel qui accepterait les chiens. Les chambres sont propres et l’accueil est sympathique. Pas de bruit la nuit literie correcte Petit déjeuner en buffet avec un large choix, nous avons apprécié. Très bons échanges avec le personnel durant le petit déjeuner et accueil au top pour notre chien (ce qui est rare et mérite d’être souligné)

Le menu du diner proposé mercredi était à choix limité mais très suffisant : chacun de nous 3 avons trouvé notre bonheur ,servis rapidement ,cuisiné à la minute et de qualités correct Nos 2 chambres spacieuses étaient propres ,bien équipées et chauffées parfaitement Nos séjours dans votre établissement s est terminé par un magnifique petit déjeuné proposé en buffet à volonté et en toute liberté,permettant de combiner à sa guise sa composition et d'adapter le contenu en fonction de son appétit, avec des produits frais et de qualité Nous reviendrons vers vous avec grand plaisir et nous le conseillerons à notre entourage sans réserve

Les toilettes ne sont pas propres. La Nuit tourmentée car chauffage trop élevé, et beaucoup trop de bruit empêchant de dormir toute la nuit. Nous ne renouvèlerons pas l’expérience, pour 90€ la nuit c’est abusé ! Heureusement que le personnel est sympa !
