My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Several of the people who look after you also own the hotel and they combine to make it a relaxing and classy experience. We ate in their Bistro as well as their Gourmet Michelin start restaurant which was a dining event as good as it gets. Many thanks to the owners and staff for making our stay such a memorable experience. My wife and I have traveled the world and stayed in many beautiful places. This area and this hotel are up there with the best; do not miss it

Beautiful grounds and a wonderful restaurant. We stayed here 2 nights on a cycling trip. Lots of beautiful countryside just outside the front door -- perfect cycling terrain. The room and bathroom were both large, the shower pressure was strong, and the A/C kept us comfortable. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was tasty and filling.

We stayed at Le Vieux Logis for 2 nights as part of a Backroads cycling trip. It was an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne region and is located in the tiny but charming, sleepy village of Trémolat. We had a large ground floor suite that looked out over the beautiful grounds. It was spacious and beautifully furnished with tasteful decorative touches. We particularly loved the separate sunroom where we could sit at the end of the day with a glass of wine and look out over the gardens. Our one issue was that the bathroom shower did not contain the water properly and did not drain well so that the bathroom floor became very wet. Breakfast was included and was served in the main restaurant. The breakfast was a very generous buffet with a huge range of choices and it set up up for the day ahead. The highlight was the Michelin 1 star restaurant. The food was beautiful particularly the stuffed leg of lamb with artichoke tapenade and rocket pesto.

I booked this hotel as it was that very rare beast, a hotel with a michelin star restaurant that is not only open in winter / early March and open on a monday night!! Easy to find, very welcomimg and able front desk. Situated in a lovely little Dordogne village practically on the river. Booked a Junior Suite and was delighted with the room assigned - Room 1 in the old house. More like a small 1 bed suite so may have been an uprade, not matter - a very well appointed suite and most enjoyable. Very quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast in the main restaurant included. No need to pay for additional extras as the buffet was ample. All in all a very good stay with excellent staff

Really comfortable hotel, in room 16 (maybe, we can’t remember room number) but overlooking the garden. Room was delightful, clean, big and well kept. Minor gripe at slight stained sink (brown for some reason). Staff on site amazing and couldn’t do enough. Beautiful pool area. Amazing place, highly recommend!

Le Vieux Logis is a gem that is nestled within the charming little town of Tremolat. We found it to be a perfect location for exploring the beautiful Dordogne region and a place that we were very happy to come back to each day to enjoy the grounds and town. The staff at the front desk were always friendly and would help us map out our daily itinerary, with great suggestions on what to do and see. We had an amazing gastronomic dinner that was served in the lovely outdoor garden. We stayed in a suite which was excellent. We loved our stay here and if/when we return to this part of France, will definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel with an even better restaurant. Set in an old priory, the hotel has a sense of history about it. We are given a room across the street and it had comfortable bed and nice sitting area. The shower was good and the room met our needs for a one-night stay.
