Greenhills Country Hotel

We visited recently for my 75th birthday. I can honestly say this was the best hotel i have ever stayed in. Room extremely comfortable and well,appointed. We had a ground floor garden room. Staff were lovely-nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent. Utterly superb. We had a most relaxing 5 days. would certainly use this hotel again should we visit Jersey again. Can’t praise it highly enough.

Excellent hotel with great food options and wine/beer list. Excellent and friendly staff team who made the stay and dining and very personal experience. Breakfast is excellent in quality and range of choices (cooked to order). Prices are reasonable. Excellent setting and looking forward to returning next year.

Just an amazing hotel. Great experience. Plenty of choice at breakfast and the food was on point. Staff friendly. Rooms lovely. Bed and pillows lush. Shower amazing. Cleanliness at its best. By far the best place to stay in Jersey and very central. Close to airport if traveling via airplane. We came by boat. Plenty of car parking.

Lovely hotel could not fault beautiful hotel lovely staff rooms were spotless and beautiful .food was really good and restaurant was nice to eat and enjoy the breakfast so quiet and no light pollution only thing I could say is that you need a car even though it’s not far from st Helier a car is a must if you want to explore which we did. Would be nice in the summer as we went for my birthday which is unfortunately in February but it didn’t stop us from going what we wanted to do thanks again

One of the best and most memorable hotels I’ve stayed in recently, primarily because of the wonderful staff and service. It’s a short drive from the airport and not really surrounded by any other amenities, but everything you could want is in the hotel and the small grounds are lovely. There is a small outdoor pool which is closed in the winter months but it would be a great space to relax with a book in the summer. Checking in was a delight and really welcoming. Despite arriving early in the morning they were happy to let me have access to the room which was on the first floor, overlooking the front of the hotel. There wasn’t an elevator so best to contact the hotel before staying if that’s likely to pose an issue. The room was spacious and decorated beautifully, with a really homely feel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the complimentary bottled water was a nice touch, as well as the drink making facilities you’d expect as well as a few snacks. The bathroom was equally as spacious and clean with decent storage space. The shower was over the bath and had decent power with pleasant bottled toiletries provided. On the ground floor there’s a bar, small lounge area and restaurant - having a few drinks and a meal there had to be one of the highlights of the stay. The staff are really attentive (admittedly maybe too much) and drinks are served quickly. There’s a small food menu offered in the bar but the menu in the restaurant is great. I’d only intended to have a small meal before bed but the quality of food and presentation, along with the setting, meant just kept ordering! The pre-meal bread & oil, scallop starter, pheasant main, chocolate ganache desert and even post-meal cheese were all perfect. Far from cheap but worth every penny. I was almost sad to be checking out the following day and only staying the one night. Next time I’m in Jersey I’ll be staying here again.

This is a very good hotel and fine dining restaurant which is elevated to exceptional thanks to the exemplary service delivered by the staff. Leading by example, the manageress pays attention to every detail, checking in with guests frequently, and expeditiously handling any requests. The small grounds are beautifully maintained and a small courtyard pool provides a quiet area to rest with a book on a sunny day. With private event facilities this is a small hotel which creates an ambiance of luxury service and tranquility executed to the highest standard.
