I was at Grand Hotel Emerald at the end of July 2022, I was there only for one night. The room was spacious and clean so was the bathroom, the bed was very nice and comfortable. The food from the restaurant was nice. The staff members were super nice and friendly.

The hotel does not match the declared 5 stars. The bathroom with hair on the wall from the former residents, in room 2 bottles of water at 0.33 in plastic and it is necessary to actually ask for additional water, to Recepshin from the room it is impossible to call, no one can get a shoe tug and sponge for shoe care. There is no staff at the receptacle in the morning, evening and night. It took 5 minutes to wait for someone to appear in the hall from the staff. The whole hall of the first floor is smiling (indeed, ripping) of the staff who should be on the recipes all day. A taxi from Moscow Railway Station takes about 10 minutes. Better than the old five-star hotels in Moscow.

I have stayed at this hotel for 17 days and honestly God it's an amazing one for the price and the quality we paid for. Centrally located on a quite Vostanya street. The room 328 was amazing and the amentias are top. Breakfast is very good with a variety of everything from coffee to Eclairs. Workers were soo friendly and helpful anywhere; Biggest kudos go to the cleaning ladies who do such an amazing job with a smile on their face. Highly recommending if you are looking for hotels in St Petersburg. Thank you so much Akyan and looking forward to seeing you in the future.

The biggest plus of the hotel is its location. Two stops at the metro and we are in the center of Nevsky. Station right in the hotel building. Breakfasts are delicious but not hot. No heating. In the room everything is available. Why is that only 19 channels on TV. Bed and towels are snowy. Pillows, blankets. Cleaning in 3 days was never once, twice had to ask the maid to pick up the garbage. Question to the hotel administration: Why are the slugs fenced the parking place opposite the main entrance and do not pass the taxi. With heavy baggage you have to go to the slugs. Please correct this misunderstanding. Response issues are resolved quickly. The view from the room to Neva, who is unlucky - to the inner courtyard. The hotel is huge, the corridors are long. The reception was also very warm and stayed for two nights. The room for me was with a small balcony, which was a small surprise. Breakfast can be delivered to the room or to the bar on the first floor. One person is also very careful. The only thing that feels not very good is that there is a step to carry luggage up the door. The elevator is very small, but this is also because of the old building. The room decoration is not bad, and the room size is not small, personally recommended.

Stop at this hotel for three days. Start with pluses, it's the perfect cleaning of rooms, location. But a huge minus hotel with 4*~ is a restaurant. Such a ”brain” I've never seen. Just annoyance from breakfast!!! Service waiters - children who carry food for visitors with unhappy people. I can't even imagine who invented it! Cooking is apparently also a child ,tc food is raw cheese, cold omlet, salad cut in different pieces, decorate it with a terrible mayonnaise! Coffee is not available, you can ask the waiters for a pie,tc it is declared and under it is an empty basket ,but you will refuse. You will book a hotel without breakfast, or remove this option in the booking. Tk to spoil the mood you will start in the morning. Resepshn also sleeps and speaks parallel on its mobile. Not to guests) It is a pity that this hotel has 4*,and misleads guests !

This past September I spent 10 days in Saint Petersburg, staying at the Hotel Vera. It was partially a business trip mixed in with a much needed get away. Various guidance and assistance, ranging from airline ticket changes to searching for the best taxi fare (and everything in between) was always provided by the highly professional and well natured staff and management of this hotel. The proximity to downtown St. Petersburg, along with various cheap, safe, and convenient public transportation options makes the Hotel Vera even more attractive. Great, nutritious, and tasty breakfasts, not to mention the gourmet dinner menu at “Stepnov” - hotel’s restaurant, added even more pleasure to my stay. In summary, great value and a great place. And very unique as well. Exquisite collection of the stained glass from the past century. Paintings of various artists. Intriguing atmosphere of the quintessential “old Petersburg’s” boutique hotel… This is my sixth stay at the Hotel Vera, and I definitely will be back.
