Just returned from an impeccable stay at Domaine de la Sabliere. The staff were all very friendly and I loved how textile-free the naturist experience there was compared to other larger sites such as Euronat. One could even eat in the restaurant at night nude without anyone batting an eyelid. Everything was well-maintained, especially the sanitary blocks, which was pleasing. A really good range of activities was on offer all included in the price such as music, kid's clubs, archery, swimming, sauna, etc. I loved the tiered swimming pools including the flumes and the river was a beautiful setting to lounge about on and watch the world go by. The restaurants were all of good quality and had reasonable prices. The supermarket had everything one needed throughout the stay so no need to leave the campsite and put your clothes on if you didn't want to. My one and only niggle is that toilet paper is only provided on the outside of the toilets. This is so annoying and very embarrassing to have to dispense in front of everyone else. Please just put toilet roll dispensers in each cubicle! Otherwise, I would thoroughly recommend Domaine de la Sabliere either for a family or solo holiday.

My last review was 5 years ago and we had a idyllic stay again . This time we rented a Chalet Belle Vue which is the best accommodation . most comfortable with views to Mount Ventoux over the Ceze valley . Comfortable beds , but I would have liked the single bed not to have been screwed to the wall . Lots of facilities , 4 hobs , microwave , coffee machine , fridge/freezer , plenty of pans, dishwasher . . Shady balcony . bathroom with 2 basins , shower , separate WC . I would have liked a kettle , a toaster , a grab rail in the shower and a soap dish .also nets on the bedroom windows would be good . No internet access except at reception is a pity . facilities in the site are well proved . A shop where fresh bread and croissants are available , an on site restaurant , and bar ,crepery. 2 swimming pools, great river for swimming and a shady beach ( or sunny ) . New feature of a water slide . Extensive area to explore all without clothes . One can wade across the river to another naturist site called La Genese on the other bank

I have come here twice a year for approx 20 years. The camping is clean and the location is great. When you like to swim in a river you can lay over there and relax. When you like a pool you walk up and enjoy the infinity pool. When you like to hike you have kilometers to explore. Finish the evening at Eden Rock with some nice drinks and snacks.

The Domaine de la Sablière with its many hiking opportunities “au naturel” is and remains one of our favorite places for naturist holidays. The well-equipped resort is nestled in the wooded hills of the Cèze valley. Apart from a few exceptions by the river, we got the impression that the naturist ethic is very well adhered to. Family-friendly facilities, such as the new, spacious water slides, but also naked lifeguards and animators, as well as many long-term tenants with children, certainly contribute to the fact that the naturist ideals are also lived by the young people. Most of the total of 250 different rental accommodations (many with dishwashers and other amenities) and the just as many pitches are somewhat hidden under trees. Sun worshippers will find more than enough sunny lounging areas by the two swimming pools, one of which is covered. The new sauna impressed with its generous opening hours. Sun-drenched sand and pebble beaches can be found along the Cèze river. Sablière's landmarks are certainly the two rocky outcrops that tower over the water. The distance from reception to the swimming pools and the very good crêperie is almost a kilometer. After another kilometer you reach the very good grocery store and the restaurant, which was unfortunately a bit disappointing this year, as well as the beach on the Cèze. During the high season, the resort even offers a shuttle bus operated by a professional public transport provider. Thanks to the natural atmosphere, La Sablière is ideal for both new naturists and anyone who likes well-equipped, spacious holiday resorts in a natural environment.

Great scenery with impressive views. However, the sanitary facilities smelled horribly and half the showers were out of order. Curiously, you couldn't select a water temperature in the showers either and the water came out very hot, which was quite annoying given the constant 36 degrees in the shade. The river is very nice for bathing, the outdoor pool with its 3 new slides is good for children, although it is very crowded and there is hardly any shade in the whole pool. The restaurants appear to have recently been taken over by a new operator who is widely seen as completely incompetent by campers. Our two restaurant visits were accordingly. What was ordered didn't come, half the table had eaten long before the others were served anything. There wasn't what was on the menu and the pizzeria didn't serve pizza "because it would take too long to prepare pizza for all the customers" (quote from the waiter). Kids activities were ok but only suitable for kids who like crafts. Unfortunately there were no outdoor games, there were no clubs for mini golf and the sports fields were always dead. There is hardly any mobile phone reception or internet anywhere on the site. There is a WLAN place at the reception, but there is hardly more than no network available. This makes it extremely difficult to plan day trips. Last but not least, we actually thought it was a good thing that campers are encouraged not to use their cars on site, but to leave them near reception. Unfortunately, this was generally disregarded, not least because the whole area is extremely steep and there were not often shuttle buses during the week and no shuttle buses at all at weekends. All in all it was a nice 2 weeks, from which we would have expected a bit more professionalism.

Idyllic setting, but in recent years this little paradise has lost its wild side that we loved so much. Go there out of season to avoid noise pollution (karoke, dance evenings, concerts blasting the balloons) every evening until midnight … for peace and quiet you have to camp downstairs and at the bottom near the river. We hope that the evenings will be more limited this year for the respect of nature and the tranquility of vacationers looking for rest.

On the camping side, not too much to say, even if everything is not perfect, the place is very nice. On the other hand, on the catering side, it is a disaster! To flee ! Very expensive, of very poor quality, lack of napkins to eat a "very practical" burger and we will tell you take your napkin we have more! Ditto for the mayo if you want it go look for it at the top because here there is more. No need to discuss with the person in charge of the restaurant points he will tell you "I don't care what you tell me" here is the answer after so many years of loyalty. Keep your money to treat yourself outside the campsite, even the bar is too expensive, and the doses are not respected in terms of savings. Apart from 2 very professional and smiling young girls, the rest of the servers had no respect for the customers. Next year it will be all the family expenses outside the campsite period. Finally, the evenings with a menu if you want to find yourself with your paper plate in your mouth when cutting your poor little piece of meat and your 2 very small potatoes at 17€ it's perfect!

After 30 years of loyalty, I can only see the suicide of the most beautiful campsite in France. The welcome by an autain and unpleasant Dutchman. Nothing to do with your loyalty...look elsewhere...well, I went there. Sad for Madale Gaby and the late Mr Georges...
