Ibis Saint-Quentin Basilique

Well I tried hard to work out where to feed back within Ibis site - impossible! So my comments will go here. It seemed newly refurbished and fine but there were two very irritating things - There were no cups (paper fine) for the water I need to take medication at bed time, and so had to dress and go down to get. Also, the bathroom bin had no lid, which I assume would be a nightmare for a menstruating woman in some circumstances, or for people with certain medical conditions. Never come across either problem before, in quite a bit of travelling.

Central opposite large church. Part of a Leger tour. A typical Ibis hotel. Clean and had friendly staff. The top floors (4&5) were very hot. The AC did not work. Bedroom very small , clean but hot. Beds very comfortable. I had to help some elderly guests (with my schoolboy french), who needed fans, which the man on the front desk kindly got. He told me, in French, that the AC was "working yesterday". Well it isn't working now mon ami ! ;) Breakfast was good.

Just an overnight stop on our way home. I know Ibis is a budget chain and it shows! The room was rather dated with few amenities (not even a glass in the bathroom to use when cleaning your teeth). The A/C was very loud and the shower was verging on dangerous (very slippery and raised up about 2o cm with no handrails) . Breakfast was good quality but limited. The dole member of staff in check in was helpful though. All this is a shame as it’s in a fantastic location

My grandparents and I stopped by for one night on a long-haul drive from the UK to Geneva. The hotel was clean and the staff were polite. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The room I stayed in faced the Basilique which lit up with colourful lights at night. The breakfast in the morning was amazing value and had so many options and amenities. I had about 3 cups of tea and many, many wild blueberries along with toast and other pastries. There was also fresh fruit and a coffee machine. Honestly I would go back for the breakfast alone! I will definitely stay again if I am in St. Quentin.

Lovely location and staff. Room very clean and beds very comfortable. Room was small but aside from that I would absolutely return. AC worked well which was a blessing. Beautiful view of the Basilique and breakfast was good. No complaints!

UN EXCELLENT CHOIX Nous recommandons l'hôtel IBIS St Quentin, très bien situé, à proximité de tous (commerces, salle de spectacle du Splendid, etc...). Accueil sympathique, chambre avec literie très confortable. Insonorisation au top et petit déjeuner de qualité et varié. Parking juste devant l'hôtel payant mais seulement en journée.

Nice hotel with polite and welcoming staff. Opposite St Quentin Basilic cannot be better location. Room was very clean, good size and nice bathroom. Breakfast was typical Ibis stuff but decent breakfast. Overall highly recommended.

It was a rather comfortable stay. The hotel is near the main square/cathedral which can get a bit busy, but the sound proofing in our room was remarkable. We will come back.

Ideal spot for a quick stop over.
