As part of the Hilton portfolio, we booked the Ventura through the Hilton app. We chose a family room, consisting of two double bedrooms connected by an internal door, which worked very well for us. The communication before arrival was excellent, and the hotel was able to accommodate a slightly earlier check-in at 2 pm, which was much appreciated. The staff were also very helpful with our luggage upon arrival. A special mention goes to Lisa from the concierge team, who was extremely helpful with arranging restaurant reservations. Unfortunately, our Hilton status was not acknowledged at check-in at all, which was disappointing, especially given that we had booked directly through the Hilton app. The hotel is very conveniently located right in the centre of Saint-Tropez and has only recently opened. The rooms are definitely one of the highlights. Everything has been completely renovated, the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and the large balcony with seating and a sun lounger is a lovely addition. Unfortunately, we did find a full ashtray on the balcony when we arrived, which was not a great first impression. There are, however, some things to be aware of when choosing this hotel. Almost all common areas are located on minus one level, including the lobby, restaurant and bar. There is also a shared communal pool used by the other apartments in the complex. While it is certainly nice to have access to a pool, it does not really match the standard or price level of the hotel. I was also surprised that there is no outdoor bar, restaurant or rooftop area with views over Saint-Tropez or the sea. Given the location and price point, this would have been a real highlight. We also ordered room service at around 1 am. While we would normally expect the full menu to be available at this time, unfortunately only one dish was still available. This was rather disappointing for a hotel of this category. Overall: The Ventura offers beautiful, newly renovated and spacious rooms in an excellent central location. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the concierge service was excellent. However, the hotel itself offers relatively little beyond the rooms. I would therefore recommend it primarily to guests who prioritize a great room and location and do not expect extensive hotel facilities, outdoor dining, rooftop spaces or a particularly impressive pool area.
