Small house rather than large hotel perfect room for 5 people it is quiet and clean nothing to re-repeat, well equipped bathroom with hair dryers, there is TV, air conditioning, all the lingerie and draps ... Nickel bed we have sleeped well

The best attributes of Ibis Sarlat are easy walking distance to the town centre and secure on-site parking. Otherwise, it seemed like most other Ibis hotels where we've stayed. A relatively compact room with fairly comfortable bed and adequate bathroom facilities. No extras such as in-room tea or coffee making or fridge. Overall it was fine for a three-night stay and the advance booking rate was very good.

We were travelling from Australia in March 2020 & booked in to Hotel Villa des Consuls for 4 nights as part of a extensive road trip through France.. When we checked in the Corona Virus pandemic was intensifying causing a great deal of uncertainty. We must compliment the Hotel for the outstanding service we received from start to finish of our stay in a very abnormal period of time. The hotel position is brilliant and we were greeted by a friendly and professional staff member at reception. Our room was absolutely superb with lashings of ”WOW” factor. The room was spacious,well equipped,spotlessly clean with a balcony view overlooking the beautiful town of Salart. Our stay was 5 star in all aspects and the new owner who took over in January 2020 made our time at the hotel extremely memorable. We have traveled around the world for many years and this is one of the nicest stays we have ever had.The quality of the property really made the difference. This was our last stop in France due to the Pandemic lock down but we will be back We have no hesitation in highly recommending Hotel La Villa des Consuls to travelers who are looking for that special accommodation experience.
