We just arrived back in London from a wonderful weekend celebrating our friends' birthdays at Château de Sanse, Bordeaux, France. The grounds are immaculate and scenic. The food was tasty and well-seasoned. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Sandra and her team were welcoming, warm, and hospitable. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Château de Sanse, Bordeaux, France. I highly recommend this idyllic, stunning location.

I sent a deposit as requested and about 2 weeks later had to cancel. No problem, we'll within the time frame for full refund. Madame said give me your bank details which I did. Almost 2 months later I haven't received anything and she is ghosting me. Never replies to any of my emails. DONT SEND DEPOSIT. You won't get it back!!!

Very friendly and warm welcome. Very comfortable and an excellent dinner which was great quality and a fair price with good service. We only booked for one night on our way to Bergerac airport. We also used the pool which had great views ! Thank you hopefully we will return.

Gorgeous setting in the heart of the Gironde with stunning views over the valley and vineyards. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and couldn’t help us enough. Sandra went over and above - fitting 6 more guests in our party into the booked out Friday night BBQ ensuring we all had a wonderful evening.

Really enjoyed our stay here, setting is gorgeous, tranquil with lovely terrace and pool area . Staff are super friendly and helpful and the owner is attentive and wants to ensure you have a good stay . We were attending a wedding nearby and they helped organise transport over the weekend celebrations. The bed was very comfortable, good power shower and nice large room . It was very hot during our stay but a fan was provided which was welcome . Thank you everyone at Chateau de Sanse , I know we will return .

This newly renovated inn is one of the most lovely experiences I’ve had in a lifetime of travel. It’s exceptionally charming, with a wonderful restaurant and the friendliest staff. The beds were comfortable, the whole hotel is impeccably clean, and the restaurant is excellent. The owners are onsite and engaged — and truly delightful. I will absolutely return here when I come to the area again.

A lovely little chateau with very friendly staff (with good English too) - nice setting - good rustic French food available with either lunch or dinner available as half board. Breakfast is a continental buffet - not huge - but well done. Good sized pool area, swings and slide for children. The setting is quiet with some amazing night skies away from light pollution.

First class hotel and restaurant. Superb views and location. Elegant and comfortable rooms and warm and friendly welcome from the owners and staff. The food was excellent with a good choice of dishes and the wine didn’t have to travel far!
