Beautiful location in the Cirque de Salazie. Very welcoming, well organised staff. You need to book in advance of your arrival for spa services and dinner, but otherwise great. The restaurant is of an excellent standard.

We had an amazing experience here and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax (plus the place is far from everything). The views are just wow. Pool was heated so perfect for any weather. The staff were so competent and they gave us a warm welcome. The food was delicious (one of the best place I ever ate to). Thanks to the Chef ! Very good place if you want to reconnect with yourself. Thanks to all the staffs again. :)

Different to some of the rather bad reviews here we had an excellent stay at the Hotel. Yeah it’s a bit pricy but I think it’s one of the best Hotels in the area. Food was delicious and the breakfast has a good variety. It’s about a 30min drive to Hell-Bourg.

We stayed here for three nights. Of course the location is not perfect but was not a problem since we have had a rental car. We only have been to the restaurant once. Food was great even the choice was limited. For us the breakfast was great. Fruits, bread, eggs, sausage, cheese, coffee nothing was missing. The staff on the reception speaks very good English. The staff in the restaurant do speak a little but the will try to help you as good as they can. The pool is just perfect in this landscape an we used it every day after our hikes. We liked the room very much. We didn’t use the spa. If we ever come back to this island we will visit this place again. Thank you so much for making our holiday better. (We were quite worried that nobody speaks English here)

Room very good. Very beautiful view. Good welcome with attentive staff. Breakfast very good. Very good restaurant but very very expensive. The customer is taken hostage because there is no other choice around than going to the restaurant without knowing what to expect before seeing the menu and the prices. The pool could do with being a little warmer…

The view from the heated swimming pool is magnificent and the staff are very welcoming. The rooms are well equipped and the bedding is very comfortable. This hotel is ideal for recharging your batteries after a hike in Mafate! I recommend this hotel.

This was our 4th stay at Sarana, a very beautiful establishment nestled in the heart of Mare à Vieille Place in Salazie. : bistronomic restaurant, lounge bar, heated swimming pool, spa and different categories of rooms among which you will undoubtedly find what you are looking for. Looking forward to coming back perhaps in 2 weeks with friends who want to discover the hotel! Points for improvement: - put the Creole dish back as a suggestion at dinner (its removal is, in my opinion, a pure error) - change the orange juice for breakfast (today's differed from previous times and was particularly tangy with a surprising color) - say hello 😉 when a hotel guest greets the CEO
