Historic Salem Retreat. Near Waterfront + Downtown

Wonderful and pleasant home. Perfect for our family of four's needs. Close to everything in Salem and super clean. The Master bed was beyond comfortable! Natalia was very easy to work with and would recommend using her as a host. Excellent overall experience, would highly recommend.

Loved our sweet apartment in Salem! Perfectly positioned, easy to get to town, and our host was very easy to get in touch with. It snowed while we were there and she kept us up to date on the town things. Really looking forward to a return trip!

Newly painted, very clean, very comfortable beds, and uncluttered. A very nice place to stay.

The home was beautiful but better signage would have help to know which door was which. Also in the description of the amenities it says parking on site. To many that means on the actual property and not on the street. I think it needs to be clear the only parking is on the street for this home. After a long day of exploring, we got back to the property in the evening time I believe before 10pm and there was not a spot in site or on street. We drove up and down to see if we could find a spot with in walking distance and nothing. Lucky one of the neighbors let us block their drive way to be able to park close enough to walk back to the property. I was very stressed by this because I felt I the advertisement of the property was false. The on site parking should be removed from the description and the amenities. It should clearly state that you will have to find parking on the street. I feel like the description makes it seem optional. Other than this the home was cute and seemed clean. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Fire place could use a upgrade as the duck tape did not work to keep cool air out. We were exhausted from traveling and coming home to this cozy home was perfect! We had everything we needed and the location was so convenient! It took us minutes to get to the museums and the heart of Salem. Truly a wonderful stay.

This was a quaint, albeit basic two bedroom apartment in an old historic house, which gave us all the right vibes for a girls weekend in Salem. It’s very close to everything we wanted to see but far enough away for quiet nights. The wooden floors are glorious and original and creaky just like you would expect. There was plenty of on street parking, even coming and going at odd hours we never had an issue. The host was super great and immediately responded when I asked a question. . there were bags of microwave, popcorn, a great stocked coffee corner in the apartment, and just little touches that made it feel comfy.
