Lumbre Forest Lodge

We had an amazing stay. The staff were very attentive and would help us with all our requests. The property was breath taking and secluded. The waterfalls on the property were an added cherry on top of a great experience.

Amazing place, beautiful scenery. If you stay here I’d recommend warm pjs and some rain boots if you decide to explore the waterfalls. I stayed with my 3 and 5 year old and they loved it. The staff were amazing, very welcoming and helpful. If you want to disconnect from technology, this is the spot!

Place was a dream. Will go again. They even had an amazing dog to escort us to the waterfall hike named sol. Food was good and affordable , the staff were very friendly . Can not wait to go back!

Clamping Lumbre was an amazing, peaceful escape just outside Salento. The grounds are immaculate, filled with birds and friendly animals. My room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The property's two waterfalls are a must see. I highly recommend the hike and a refreshing swim if you're feeling brave. The staff was very attentive, answering all my questions and even arranging a tour to the spectacular Carbonera Valley. This tour is a photographer's dream, with its breathtaking landscapes and the highest concentration of wax palms. This serene, romantic setting is perfect for couples, but it was also an ideal retreat for me as a solo traveler.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Glamping Lumbre. The staff were all so kind and helpful. We ate dinner both nights at the restaurant, and the food was fantastic! Everything was made from scratch and was delicious. We will definitely stay there again the next time we’re in the area!

very beautiful property, go here to immerse yourself in nature and wake up to sound baths. Very close to Salento and Cocora Valley, a great home base to explore.

This place is a really nice area to have a calm time in a beautiful nature area. It’s for people who likes to camp and this adds a lot of comfort and luxury! Me and my boyfriend loved that it was so close to cocora valley! We could walk to the park! This is not a place for people that wants a normal hotel room, this is something special and it’s for people that is ok with seeing a spider or similar, because we are really in the middle of nature. Lovely staff, family feeling! Lovely food! Would recommend this SO MUCH!

Glamping Lumbre was the perfect escape for our family, especially with our 2- and 6-year-old boys. We were lucky to snag the last family size tent on a last minute decision to stay within Valle de Cocora. The onsite waterfall hike was a fun, manageable adventure: safe, scenic, and close by. Each tent is beautifully designed and spaced far enough apart that you feel completely secluded, making it ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers. Ours was cozy, quiet, and immersed in the nature. With stunning views and space for the kids to explore. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—we felt truly cared for the entire stay.
