The best thing about this place is the manager at the hotel in the afternoon. He is super friendly, very helpful and suggestions about where to eat and what places to go in Salida. Just really made you feel welcome in their hotel. I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Salida, And this one stands out just because of the service of the staff and the manager.

We stayed for a weekend trip with my sister and mom. The room was great, the front desk clerk was very friendly, everything was nice and we were able to relax. The bed was really comfortable too!

We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn. It was convenient to walk to restaurants and the brewery. It also had a full breakfast at the hotel.

Quiet nice room. Went out for dinner then returned and TV didn't work properly. Called desk someone came up and discovered the TV had cracked screen, he offered another room but we declined. Other that that we didn't have a problem. He called owner to get TV replaced.

The hotel room was in the basement of the buildings (which is weird). The room was not in great shape. Stains on the bed. Parking lot was filled with shady characters. Went to use the hot tub and it was not open and was located in some gross tiny basement area. .

Very nice -- lives up to its name. Rooms are much bigger than expected, and linens, bed, and pillows are really good quality. Wifi and shower were also very nice. Check-in was super smooth -- they had our cards (for multiple rooms) ready to go. 8 year old enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only issue was the morning cleaning staff were frustrating. First tried to clean the room at 8:15AM, even after we ran into them heading down the hall to grab breakfast. Then they knocked 15 mins later and tried to come into the room (while on the john! ;-) ). Then again 15 mins later -- so 3x before 9AM. Seems they need a better system to know when guests check out. Otherwise, it was good.

Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast provided. The property would benefit from some renovation and modernization. I would stay again.
