MILFORD HALL SALISBURY by IHG
"Great stay. Upgraded to king premium room being Diamond IHG. Breakfast option was limited. Take away coffee was a great option. Parking was a bit pricey £10 per night. Room was spacious. No fridge in the room. Service was not tip top. I asked for a refill of coffee sachets but it was not done promptly. Had to remind at the reception. Overall, still a great stay."
Stonehenge Farmhouse
"I/we stay in many hostels. I know hostels offer value-only accommodation, our expectations are modest. This hostel has a poor state of upkeep and exceptionally poor customer service. Yesterday (and for sure I could have expressed myself more constructively) I went to the staffer (Will) on reception and explained that I would be leaving a bad review: Because our en-suite shower was tepid, the bathroom mirror light and shaving point did not work, broken toilet seat, no where aside from beds to unpack our vanity bags, no bin and all of the installed reading lights neither wired nor working. The uninterested staffer shrugged their shoulders, said “I don’t care” and advised that I could use a communal shower. After taking a moment, I countered that as the member of staff he should care, we’d booked en-suite expecting the en-suite to be as advertised, and that he could be offering solutions to the raised problems - for example calling a plumber for the tepid shower, calling an electrician for the faulty shaving-mirror/vanity-light, offering a bin, repairing broken toilet seat etc. The staffer’s response was a further shrug and his unhelpful comment of “I don’t like the hostel anyway”. The following morning all of the sockets were faulty in the kitchen meaning no kettle, microwave or toaster availability for breakfast. No staffer, a notice advised to phone a mobile if any problems: I did, explaining the problems. All I was advised is that neither a staffer nor manager would be onsite for at least 20 minutes. I and another guest tried to find circuit boards to check ‘breaker switches’: The other guest found the kitchen one, reset the switch and the kitchen sockets power was restored. Bedding was clean, unpleasant eating area. I doubt I’ll be rebooking this hostel, which is a shame because its setting and location are nice: My advice would be to spend a bit more money and avoid the disappointment of staying in the hostel."
Best Western Salisbury Red Lion Hotel
"Lovely hotel in the heart of the city short walk to restaurants bars shops cathedral, parking is only 2 min walk also , had a great stay for 2 nights"
Mercure Salisbury White Hart Hotel & Apartments
"The location is near the town centre. The room is clean and tidy. The staff are polite and helpful."
The Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel
"Breakfast was really good and we loved the riverside setting. We had a good sized double in the old part of the hotel. We loved the old beams and history."
The George Hotel, Amesbury, Wiltshire
"Happy with everything would go back again"
The Merchants House, BW Signature Collection
"First time visitors, would highly recommend to all visiting Salisbury, spotlessly clean, a warm welcome, fluffy towls 👍 will be staying again!"
Caboose
"The Caboose staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay enjoyable. However, the experience could be improved with a few more amenities, and the bed could have been a bit larger. We enjoyed our breakfast and they gave us free cookies in the evening."
Holiday Inn SALISBURY - STONEHENGE by IHG
"The breakfast is delicious. The location is convenient after visiting Stonehenge, but the reception can provide the basic stuff for us when we check in, for example toothbrush, shaver, so that we don’t need to ask after going to the room"

The Great Bustard
"What a fabulous place to stay. Well run, luxury, comfortable… The beds are amazing. Gorgeous decor. Shower like a monsoon. I can't recommend this place enough."
Sarum College
"The location and breakfast were superb. The rooms left a lot to desire. No TV. No possibility to purchase snacks or drinks. Very old dorm rooms, which has its charm but it ends there. You need 2 hands to flush the toilet."
Rollestone Manor B&B and Restaurant
"Good service and very good environmental hygiene"
Marshwood Farm B&B
"This delightful 17th century farmhouse feels a bit like staying in a minor National Trust property. The bedrooms are spacious, airy, spotlessly clean and well furnished with storage. The guests breakfast room delightful and the cooked farm breakfast delicious. We spent a very pleasant two nights here and would happily go back again. "
Stonehenge Inn
"the location is great for visiting Stonehenge, the room is spacious, the bath water is hot enough."
TRAVELODGE AMESBURY STONEHENGE
"We stayed here for 3 nights, the room was comfortable, clean and spacious. There was plenty of parking and an overflow car park. There is a petrol garage, Greggs Burger King and subway next door, the nearby town of Amesbury is about a 10 minute walk where we found Aldi. Stonehenge is close by, about a 10 minute drive. We also went to Salisbury and longleat safari park. We had a comfortable stay and I would stay again if in the area."
Gray Manor Hotel
"Close to Stonehenge, it's a small manor that's neither new nor old. The breakfast selection is limited."
The Lamb Inn
The Pembroke Arms
"Great atmosphere and decor in the rooms and pub/restaurant, friendly and helpful, attentive service. Even stored our bicycles indoors overnight. Food was excellent. Highly recommend it for accommodation and food."
The Room in the Garden
Compasses Inn
"Stayed for a big family birthday celebration Friday to Sunday and ate here from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime. We had all four rooms which are are above the pub but have their own entrance with a little garden at the front and a lobby area with seating inside (perfect for meeting and having pre-dinner drinks) that all the rooms lead off from. Our room as large with views front and back, large comfortable bed, great tea facilities with fantastic homemade cookies, bathroom with bath and plenty of quality toiletries. Good free wi-fi, we slept very well with no noise from the pub. All the food we had was excellent. The menu changes slightly each day (roasts added on Sunday) and although it is quite expensive the quality is very high and portions great. Two ciders including the excellent Cranbourne Chase real cider on draft! Service was fantastic at all times from all staff who were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also brilliant with homemade granola/compote and yogurt followed by various freshly cooked options including full English and smoked salmon. The inn is hidden away down a narrow lane and there are great walks in several directions straight from the door. Highly recommended!"
