This place is a wonderful spot to gather with family.
We both had suites for 4 days.. with our dogs and kids.
We had a tiny boat and they have a great dock.
The restaurant is delicious.
Everyone was happy to see us and kind with all interactions.
The pool and gym were very clean.
What an amazing spot… the ***** of businesses along the beach front are excellent as well.. don’t miss the morning cinnamon rolls from the bakery on the *****.
Can’t wait to spend a long weekend there again.

Not bad. The location is good. But the room facilities are a bit old. Convenient for shopping around. Convenient to the beach, Facilities: General Hygiene: General Environment: Good Service: Good This is probably the case for this kind of hotel, after all, it's pretty much the same on weekends

I liked how close the motel was to waterfront. I didn’t like trees outside of windows in bedroom, the sparrows. The birds were noisy and woke me up.

We stayed at Oceanfront Suites at Cowichan Bay for a weekend getaway, as all hotels in the Victoria Harbour were fully booked. We stayed at this hidden gem, the rooms, amenities, and sizing of the room was perfect (especially since there was a full on Living Room suite along with a kitchen to cook meals). The gym had up to date equipment with a bench press and all the free weights, as well as a nice clean pool. The view from the rooms/suites was beautiful, and it was definitely nice to go out there in the early mornings to have your coffee or lounge outside in the evenings on your patio. The only thing that was a dealbreaker was the hotel breakfast option was mediocre, the hashbrowns were burnt, and other breakfast items were average. Other than that, the staff were very helpful and professional, the people living in the area or staying in the hotel were very friendly. It was a quiet neighborhood, no botheration whatsoever and no sketchy people hovering around. Keep up the amazing work!

The view is amazing even saw whales in the harbour. The paddlers were very enjoyable to watch as well.

Enjoyed my stay, Cook and Butcher was great, staff was friendly, everything was clean. Will be booking here again next time I am in Cowichan.
