Roof top restaurant good foods but the sunset too strong to enjoy

Although the hotel’s location is very advantageous, this alone does not compensate for the overall shortcomings of the stay. The rooms are extremely small, and the bathroom is clearly inadequate in terms of both design and functionality. The level of comfort and service provided falls well below what is expected from a five-star property. Very good service

The design of the bathroom was awkward, resulting in the floor outside of the shower cubicle to "flood" every time. Shower gel was empty for 2 days and it took a call for them to replenish it, while towels were not refreshed. Lastly the much vaulted rooftop restaurant does not have a view, and service was appalling, preferring to provide service non Asian customers and neglect my table. And the server will retort you when you brought it up. Only saving grace was location

Great service from reception staff.

The hotel is in a quiet location, a short 10 to 15min walk to the main attractions. We got a room upgrade and the bathroom is big, room is clean and comfortable.

The handsome receptionist was very helpful. The chocolates we received upon check-in were delicious, and they even printed out our transportation tickets. The room was nice, and the breakfast was plentiful, though a bit pricey during the tourist season. We stayed here for three nights. This was my second time in Salzburg, and I still found it so wonderful. (Photos 1 and 2 were taken on the hotel restaurant terrace.)

The hotel is nice, not far from the train station, about 10 minutes walk. Breakfast is not included this time, I don't know if it is good. The front desk is very enthusiastic and patiently helps with various matters.

Very good family room. Since we are traveling as a family, we must book a family room for convenience. We told Ctrip customer service in advance to reserve a better family room. It was very helpful and satisfactory. 👍

The room was nice, and the sofa bed wasn't cramped. Breakfast was generous, and you could sit outside and enjoy the view of Salzburg. It was very comfortable. There's a Vietnamese noodle shop not far away, and it was absolutely delicious after not having eaten Chinese food for over ten days. It's a seven or eight minute walk. Don't hesitate to try the cakes at the nearby Sacher restaurant; they're incredibly sweet.

Overall, it was good. The only minor issue was that the receptionist gave me a card with the number 09 written on it when I checked in, but I couldn't get in no matter how hard I tried. I went back to ask and found out it was 04. The numbers are so hard to understand 😅😅😅 The fact that they offered an extra day of free luggage storage made it easy to overlook all the other minor issues.

The hotel is also located on the edge of the old town, a little far from the tourist attractions. It is a budget hotel at best. But the price is very expensive, and I booked it in advance, but the price dropped when you checked in. Although Ctrip made up the difference, the most unsatisfactory thing is that I clearly left a bag full of coins, about 10 euros, on the table when I checked out. I found it half an hour after checking out. I immediately sent an email and called the hotel front desk, but the hotel front desk said that it was not found and refused to admit it. This is not comparable to the honesty of China. Another point is that I drove here. Although the hotel has a parking lot, the location is very far and very roundabout. The parking fee is also very expensive, 25 yuan a day. If you know foreign languages, you can park directly in the roadside parking lot, which is much cheaper. We are a family of three, so we booked a triple room at the time, but when we arrived at the hotel, we found that we only added a sofa bed, but the price was 1/3 more expensive.

Located 800 meters from the train station, within walking distance; the front desk staff were friendly and helped with the free guest ticket; cleaning was average; and to make matters worse, I discovered the nightly rate had shrunk by 500 yuan, but the free cancellation period had already passed 🤦
