Arte Hotel Salzburg

This hotel is absolutely awful. From the outside, it looks quite nice, and the breakfast view is good, but the overall management is worse than a domestic 3-star hotel. The tissue I dropped on the floor wasn't cleaned for three days. You can visibly see dust on the doorknobs and headboard. Can you even imagine the hygiene situation here? This kind of hotel doesn't even provide slippers; do you dare walk barefoot? Secondly, when we checked in, there were clearly two staff members present, but only one was handling the check-ins. We waited for nearly 30 minutes. This negative review is very real, and I have photos to prove it.

The hotel boasts a novel and avant-garde design, offering good value for money. The front desk staff were attentive and welcoming, which was a plus. The hotel is surrounded by a diverse range of eateries, perfect for food lovers. Plus, my room even had a view of the distant snow-capped mountains – amazing!

The location is super convenient, with the train station right downstairs. There's also a Chinese restaurant across the street and plenty of other dining options. Getting around is a breeze, and it's only a 15-minute walk to the attractions.

Aside from the slightly high price, I was generally satisfied, and the proximity to the station was a big plus. I didn't opt for breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but the hotel itself, being right in front of the station, made getting around incredibly convenient. The facilities were excellent, as you'd expect for the price.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the train station and bus terminal, and ten minutes to Mirabell Palace. I was assigned a room on a higher floor, so the view was quite nice. The minibar being included in the room rate was a pleasant surprise! Luggage storage was convenient. It's a shame the outdoor terrace wasn't open in the evening, otherwise I could have enjoyed the city night view.
