Sheraton Grand Salzburg Reviews

This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner. The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff there are very welcoming and caring. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.

The hotel was fantastic value for money in Salzburg! A little further from the station, but can walk in under 10mins. Imauer Hotel seems more popular with the locals, and has a great restaurant. Recommended to stay in Sheraton, and eat at the Imauer restaurant.

I really like the executive lounge on the top floor. If you miss breakfast, you can sit down and have a light meal.

It was a very good hotel among the hotels in Salzburg. It was clean, friendly, and within walking distance of the Mirabell Gardens and Salzburg Central Station, which was very nice.

The carpet smells so bad that my nose is a little sensitive. I won't stay in this kind of hotel anymore. There was no concierge when I arrived at the door. I looked for the concierge for a long time but he was hiding in the corner chatting with the guy at the front desk. Every morning, the waiter would knock on the door to see if anyone was there, regardless of whether there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. It was annoying. The breakfast was very good and the waiters were very handsome

This hotel feels a little worse than Four Points. It is not large in scale, has few restaurant options, and does not have a swimming pool. It is just a business hotel. The local prices are relatively high, so they are not comparable to the same level in China. The service is okay, the English at the front desk is good, but the English in the restaurant is slightly worse. There are free coffee coupons in the lobby bar every day, don’t miss it.

As expected, since it is a manufacturer, it is well maintained. Mirabell Gardens are also close by and the old town is easily accessible. Breakfast is average.

You can come again next time

The location of the hotel is very good, the staff service is also very good, the bed is very comfortable, and the transportation is convenient. You can take a bus to the bus stop at the corner of the hotel to go to Königssee or Hallstatt. It is also very close to the old town on foot. It is a great accommodation experience . Check-in was quick and breakfast was great.

The business trip area is located on the German border, so I stayed in Salzburg to use Salzburg Airport. The location of the hotel was close to Mirabell Park, so morning walks were possible. The hotel reception was luxurious, and I was impressed with the voucher and welcome chocolates to use the cafe. It was nice that the bathroom was also kept clean.
