Hotels Near General Moncado White House in Samal Island

Davao is the best of the many Philippine islands I have been to. It is not as commercial as Boracay and Bohol, nor as boring as Iloilo. A place I like very much. But there may not be a chance to come again!

One of the best Hotel in Davao. My Fiancé and I stayed here for 12 nights and we love it! The Manager were very friendly and accommodating as well as the staffs. We had a very memorable moments in this hotel. Until next time Park Inn Thank you so much!

Crown Regency has dipped so low on their amenities. No hot water on the shower, TV not available when we checked into the room, noisy pipes when shower turns on, TV needs to be requested on front desk, TV has 1 channel only, no indoor slippers, broken shelves. But their front desk and staff were helpfull enough. We had early check in. 6 years ago I had buffet breakfast. But now breakfast was just ala carte. We only booked the place because of the pool.

Davao Airport View Hotel is a practical choice for travelers due to its proximity to the airport, just a short walk away. While the room's decor and amenities might be dated, the spaciousness compensates for it. The air conditioning is refreshingly cold, and the bed offers exceptional comfort for a good night's sleep. A nearby convenience store adds to the convenience, and for those with late check-ins, a 24-hour Jollibee opposite the airport ensures a meal is readily available. Though not luxurious, this hotel provides a comfortable stay for those prioritizing proximity to the airport and a good night's rest.

The front desk staff was accommodating. Thre place is accessible and easy to find. I am satisfied with the cleanliness but the need to maintain it. For overall ratinh 4 out of 5 for ms.

THE SITUATION We were on a budget and planned to stay for an entire week. We chose The Strand because the online information said it: 1) Was in the right location (near malls) 2) Fit our budget of less than 1000 pesos a night 3) Pictures showed it was clean and looked fairly new 4) Didn't have that motel vibe PROS: 1) Affordable -- less than 1000 a night, man. 2) Friendly, accommodating staff -- we had to change our booking because we were going to stay in another hotel after our first night in Davao, and then go back to The Strand on the third night. Of course, we gave this confirmation before the no cancellation deadline, but what I liked was that we didn't have to do any rebooking online. The staff arranged the modification for us. 3) Morning coffee and bread -- The booking.com information said that breakfast wasn't included. They actually serve one cup of coffee (Nescafe 3-in-1) and one piece of bread (stuffed pandesal) from 6am-10am. It's not a substitute for a proper breakfast, but it can stave off hunger while you're on your way to finding a restaurant or cafe. 4) New building -- It was built only 2 years ago 5) Clean -- Some dirt between the bathroom tiles but not a big deal CONS: 1) Steep & limited parking -- We cracked the car's front fender, and there were only two parking slots. Another option is street parking, but then won't be as secure. 2) No 24-hour pharmacies within walking distance -- I got sick and the hotel doesn't sell paracetamols either. Bring your own med kit if you plan to stay here. 3) No elevator -- They only have 4 levels, so not a big deal unless you're a PWD. Just request for a lower floor upon booking, NOT upon check-in. 4) No jeepney or bus stops nearby -- it's an 8-10 minute walk from the hotel to the nearest street with public transport. We suggest downloading the Grab application so that you can book a taxi anytime. Davao taxi drivers are nice :) 5) Saggy mattress OVERALL: Great for those who are no-frills travelers. The room was very basic, but spacious and clean (we booked a studio). However, next time we might stay somewhere else with better parking and closer to a convenience store or pharmacy. There were other minuscule inconveniences but at such a cheap price per night I was happy to just let them go.

The hotel is located in the bustling city center with convenient transportation. The hotel management is professional and can patiently handle customer needs. In terms of service: Improve service details, such as airport pick-up and drop-off services, and fruit plate delivery services. The front desk staff are very good, proactive and enthusiastic. When in Davao, you must eat durian and tuna! This hotel is a bit old!

I stayed for 3 nights for about 2000 yen. As you write, I thought if I didn't ask for luxury, I would pass this price. Good point price, location in downtown center. Colonial architecture with an insta-fill courtyard pool, and stairs to insta-fill. Free breakfast with a degree of unselectable belly. You can watch CableTV on CRT TV. Good staff response. Bad point Amenities are only bath towels, bag rinse in shampoo, bag soap. No bathtub, safe, electric pot, toilet hand shower. Deluxe double has a refrigerator but fails. Pool that doesn't want to enter. No elevator (although I carried my luggage when I checked in). Wifi is good but slow. et cetera. I would like to compare other hotels or Airbnb at the same price next time I come to DVO.

Our stay at Pearl Farm Beach Resort exceeded every expectation we had. We truly felt like we were in paradise, the resort is breathtaking beyond what the photos can convey. There were so many activities available at almost at any time - including snorkelling, jet-skiing , kayaking, massages etc and the staff are always accomodating and helpful. We stayed in a Samal overlooking incredible views of the ocean and Mt Apo on a clear day, the rooms were perfectly sized and clean, we loved falling asleep to the ocean and waking up to feed fish from our balcony. The best part of this whole experience however, has to be the staff. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile, were always so friendly and up to help - I got an allergic reaction during my stay, and the on-site nurse - Eduardo kindly spent the entire week ensuring I was taken care of. We are touched by the generosity of the staff at Pearl Farm Beach Resort and would be delighted to come back again in the future with our friends and family. It has been open for a long time and I have never had a chance to come here. I suddenly found that the holiday price is quite good. But the pier is too far away. It takes more than an hour to drive from Davao. Waiting for the boat is a bit chaotic. There is no arrangement of order. I feel who is faster and who gets there. I thought it was Dokdo, but I didn't expect it. I have designated some hotels on the island, but the management of Dusit is still good. However, I feel that the Pearl Island is not very cost-effective compared to the same period last year. There are still relatively few equipment, facilities and entertainment. The fireworks show at night is still very good. There is also a free Thai massage. I hope there will be more in the future. point facilities
