Hotel Gigi

The worst hotlel has ever seen in my life. The whole hotel smell horribly and there is no service or cleaning during my 5 days stay.

The location is awesome, with a lot of restaurants and a baseball stadium in vicinity. Room has a window but just for the namesake. Bathroom is okay for the price I paid. AC is functional. There is no front desk, so can't even talk to anyone there. I didn't see anyone during my stay. Rooms are separated by cardboard or something; can hear other people walking, but personally I was not disturbed by anyone. If you want a bed, bathroom in a nice location with least disturbance, you would not be disappointed.

Very close to Petco Field, Gaslamp District.5/5 walking score.Very basic rooms. Clean. There are no staff so any concerns are done by text message or phone call. Lots of great coffee shops within walking distance.

Channel selections were very good amenities were okay needed a bit more space and microwave and fridge would have been nice great establishment though.

Location is good, price reasonable, but has first night someone was doing work repairs and was way to noisy, second night someone guest were fighting and there was nobody to ask for help. Wont recommend this for families staying. Also had issues receiving the entry codes till after check in:

The room was disgusting. The sheets were not washed. The bedding had stains everywhere. There was a toenail in one of the beds. Hair from previous guest in the beds. Both beds were very uncomfortable and had no actual fitted sheet. Just a flat sheet that was stained. We got there late so i didnt notice one bed was way worse than the other. But the morning sun showed everything. I can’t believe they would actually leave that for a guest. The shower curtain was ripped. The floors clearly were not mopped or swept. I hate to be like this I never leave terrible reviews but I’m so upset and disgusted.

I had a problem with entrance code ( my fault) I called the phone number and received a call back in less than 5 minutes

Hotel Gigi is close to everything in downtown San Diego. It was a great home base for our visits to Petco Field, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, and the Rady Shell.
