I was upgraded to a suite. I had a very comfortable stay with a great view.

Value for money and spot on with everything you need at the hotel. Location is good but parking is a pain but we figured out that if you park at Holiday Inn Express 2 miles away and take an Uber back, it’s actually worth it. Rather than paying $55/ night for parking, you can save $40 by doing this. Other than that, you must try their pool and all other activities and kids will never be bored. We also tried their Speed Boat experience and Jet Ski which was also well worth the money.

This is my first review, and the experience was absolutely terrible. First, the hotel is extremely old. The elevator smelled musty, like something out of an apartment building from the late 80s or 90s, and there was always a queue. Second, the room was also old. The refrigerator was empty, and there were only two bottles of mineral water. I booked a marina view room, and the balcony was covered in bird droppings. The central air conditioning unit and laundry room were right below, so the machines were running 24/7. The old, warped sliding glass on the balcony offered virtually no soundproofing. The hotel service was also awful. The staff were always grumpy and on their phones in the hallway. My room wasn't even cleaned the second night after my two-night stay. The only redeeming feature was the pool with its few slides, right below the other sea-view rooms, but with such poor soundproofing, the sea-view rooms were probably filled with noise from downstairs. Two rooms for two nights cost over 10,000 RMB, which is completely overpriced. It's like a 300 RMB guesthouse in China. Avoid this hotel!

The service was excellent; they upgraded my room for free. We also got to see the Ocean Park fireworks in the evening.

Although the check-in time was 4pm, the room wasn't ready until 5pm. The coffee maker in the room hadn't been cleaned either, the previous one was still there.

The environment is very good, the restaurant is delicious, the room is comfortable, the view is great, the hotel is a little old, but it is well maintained. The restaurant has a service charge plus a tip, and the extra cost is a bit high. But it is still highly recommended!
