Sheraton La Jolla Reviews

I chose this hotel for my child's UCSD summer camp, mainly because of its proximity to the university. There's a convenient gate from the hotel parking lot, accessible with a room key, that leads to a Whole Foods and other supermarkets nearby. There are also plenty of casual eateries in the vicinity. La Jolla Beach is just a short drive away. We stayed for a total of five days, booking rooms through two different platforms. The front desk staff, especially one white woman, provided excellent service. The breakfast was pretty standard, nothing special, but at least there was plenty of coffee and Chobani yogurt.

This hotel is right next to UCSD, with convenient public transportation thanks to nearby bus and light rail stations. Guests can use the side entrance to walk to Whole Foods and CVS in five minutes, and Ralph's supermarket is just across the street. The hotel has a large parking lot, costing $27 per day. The environment is comfortable, featuring a gym and a pool, and you often see bunnies in the small garden. It's also very close to the San Diego California Temple.

The room was generally clean, and the facilities weren't old for an American hotel. The environment was quiet, and it offered good value for money.

The hotel is quite old, and the facilities are relatively dated. The air conditioning was very uncomfortable, too noisy, and if turned off, it would get very hot. The location, however, is pretty good; you can walk to the UC San Diego campus and stroll down to La Jolla Cove. The California sun is strong, so be sure to use sun protection and bring plenty of water. Overall, the area feels safe, and there's a Whole Foods nearby for groceries.

The room design is comfortable, and the bed is large enough for two people. The hotel's garden is very cozy, perfect for sitting and enjoying the warm California sun. There's also a pool in the garden, and the hotel has a gym for guests to use.

The room decor is quite old now, and the air conditioning is very noisy.

It was just okay. Also, the map on Trip.com seems to be inaccurate.

The central garden is nice. The rooms are simply arranged in a two-story circle, nothing special, just an American style.
