Excellent hotel in a great location with friendly staff. It’s my second time here for a longer stay than previously and I will definitely return again!

We chose the Holiday Inn San Francisco-Golden Gateway primarily for its location, and it did not disappoint! The hotel is situated very conveniently right near the starting point of the cable car, which made getting around San Francisco incredibly easy and fun. The hotel itself was clean, and the staff were generally helpful. The only notable drawback was the breakfast. While adequate, the menu was the same every single day throughout our stay. If you plan on having breakfast at the hotel for multiple mornings, be prepared for limited variety. Overall: Highly recommended for travelers who prioritize location and transportation access. If varied breakfast options are essential, you might want to consider dining out nearby.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn San Francisco Golden Gateway. Among all the Holiday Inn hotels we’ve stayed at, this is definitely one of the best. The location is very convenient. Within a few minutes’ walk, we could easily get fresh groceries at Whole Foods Market, which was a big plus. The hotel’s breakfast also offers a wide selection of food, making it a great way to start the day. Public transport is another highlight — buses are easily accessible on foot, which makes the whole city feel much closer and very convenient to explore from this hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially appreciated the higher-floor views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money in San Francisco. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
