book the other Intercontinental SF instead service herewas mixed - David was a great help at the front desk but AJ was terrible rooms had no basic amenities such as bottled water and no empty bottles were provided for refills as well which was extremely disappointing considering it’s supposed to be a five star? property elevators were down on our first day too

If you are fond of antiques, it's the hotel for you. If you need service, choose something else. 'The fridge service is discontinued' is something i never saw in 5 stars before, see the lock on the room fridge door! Took me 2 rides down to the reception to get a kettle (teas-coffees are not provided), bc no one was answering the phone. So, great location, but hotel - never again.

The location is super uphill and frankly it’s quite old. Even the fridge is locked and doesn’t work anymore. But SF price point this is not bad but don’t expect too much

If you’re thinking of booking here please don’t the location was the only thing that was good here. It is the most dirtiest place I have stayed in the manger when I told her that the room smelt of damp moved me to a room that was still not clean and had damaged furniture. She then told me that the hotel is over 100 years old that’s why it has a damp smell I have stayed in older hotels and it was in much better condition. No one greeted me when I arrived and no one even offered to take my bags to the room. I would not give this hotel 3 starts let alone the 5 stars rating

My second time stay in this hotel. Quite and lovely view from the hill. The bath products are Byredo which awesome! Only elevators are aged but still work fine😊

The service were good! The surrounding security was also good and I had a comfortable hotel stay! I want to stay again!!
