Good place for any type of trips

The room is compact but perfect as it has everything that you need. It’s cozy and extremely comfortable. The common areas are clean and well maintained and the entire vibes of the place is just great.

That’s my second stay at CitizenM hotel. The first one was at LA and this one in SF. Really it’s my first choice due to the quality of the services. It will be better if they let people do self check in without interrupting them.

The room is very modern and stylish. Staff members are very nice and friendly. The bar in the hotel will be the best and safe place to hang out with friends.

The lighting in the room is very smart, and there are not many types of breakfast, but breakfast is like that in every hotel in the United States. The location is very good, it only takes ten minutes to walk to Moscone Hall! This one is safer. The bed is large, suitable for two people. Check-in and check-out are self-service. There is a microwave available in the restaurant. You can ask the waiter for hot water. There are no slippers, hot water kettle, toothbrush, etc. in the room. There is hand soap, shower gel, etc.

Make do with it, high cost performance

The room facilities are stylish and the sound and light insulation are very good. You can have a quiet rest in the downtown area. It's good.

I actually really liked this hotel and the cleverly engineered rooms quite a bit. Amazing efficiency and design for 150 sf room. Location was great, staff was friendly but slightly under trained. My biggest issue is there was a large painting on the front promoting “Activate Your Dreams” with a satanic image of a person with “666” tattooed across their nose. As a Christian, I was very disturbed by this imagery and can’t stay at a hotel that clearly supports anything of this kind. They’ll say it’s just art or diversity but it’s pretty blatant to me.l what it represents. Some of the workers I talked to were not happy about it either. Will not return.

First time experiencing self-check in. As I came in, I went directly to the self-check in kiosk located on the 3rd floor. A staff member came by and showed me how to scan my driver's license and pointed to another associate that would provide assistance as needed. I loved how check in is as quickly as you are able to use the system to check in. Can't blame anyone else for slow service. Room is small but well appointed, everything is clean and well organized. Using the iPad to control everything from the lights, curtains and the television was great. You can also use the Citizen M app to control everythibng in the room. Small fridge, safe for your valuables and an XL King size bed was great and would stay again.

Overall a great hotel for single travelers in particular. Couples might be a bit cramped depending on how tall you are. The immediate area around the hotel is fine, but it is near the Tenderloin area of SF so keep that in mind. Great public transit options and close to some major landmarks like the Embaradero and Yerba Buena Gardens/SFMoMA.

I loved the rooms! It was clean and very comfortable! I wished there was at least more space to put things in the shower and/or a stool but other than that it was awesome! I would totally stay again if I wanted to come back to SF!
