Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge

Fully stocked kitchen, they thought of all the little things. Host was friendly and showed us where everything was. There are only a few cabins/lodges on the property so it's quiet and peaceful. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and getting some sun. We even made use of the full-size BBQ by the pool one night. Lots to do in the area (hiking, waterfalls, Calico Jacks, cave tubing) and San Ignacio is only 40 mins away. Note: you definitely need an SUV to get there (4x4 in wet season) - it is literally "off the beaten path". If you do any of the cave tours (ATM, Crystal cave) you'll have to meet the operator in town - suggest pickup at the Community Centre in Georgeville (shorter drive than San Ignacia and already part-way to the caves)

What a find! Very quiet, secluded and private villas with well equiped kitchens and comfortable bed. Beautiful, large screened porch area. Very clean. On site managers keep the beautiful, extensive grounds meticulously maintained as well as the pool and BBQ area. Enjoyed hiking to both Big Rock Falls and a cool cave.

We stayed in Mahalo and really enjoyed it. Great space for a family.

Great place but you definitely need a off road capable vehicle to get there, and 4x4 if it’s raining.

Beautiful, unique villa! Beautiful property and really awesome villa! There were so many tropical plants and flowers around the property and villa. It felt very peaceful and private. It was a very unique experience being in the villa because it’s all open floor plan with only screens separating you from the forest. There is no air conditioning but it was still pleasant with the fans and breeze. It was very damp though with all the humidity. Be warned, It is extremely remote. It is at least 45 minutes to 1 hour from grocery stores or gas stations. There are 2 restaurants close by though. The road off the highway to get back to the villas is a VERY rough dirt road that gets even worse when it rains and takes around 25 minutes to get to the villas. The live-in property managers are polite and helpful.

This resort was absolutely beautiful! The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff were so kind and sweet. They even gave us a few mangoes, (since it was mango season and the tree was full). My family and I were exceptionally pleased with our stay.

Another great stay at Kane Villas. This trip is our 3rd time staying here and everything has always been well taken care of. We rented out all 3 Villas and as always, they are stocked with the necessary things for a great stay. The Pool and grill area was a highlight for family night, grilling and enjoying the pool. Thank to Nello for keeping the grounds and pool impeccable. Catherine, thank you for always getting us booked and in us having a place to stay in the MPR. Overall Kane Villas is a true Gem in this area full of serenity. Highly recommend!!! Thank you!

Very neat and clean residences. Staff is fiery friendly and the surrounding environment is amazing.
