Radisson San Jose Costa Rica Reviews

We booked a standard room and got an upgrade to premium room. Delicious breakfast with plenty of tropical fruits. The location is good. It's a 15 minutes walk to the Teatro Nacional and shops.

We were given a room on the first floor, which felt like the catacombs. It smelled very moldy. When we let Reception know that we could not accept that, they showed us two other rooms, which were similar (on the same floor). Then we were shown a room on the second floor. It was better. If you turned on the aircon, there was also a moldy smell in that room. Everything else was okay. Food great. People helpful. Just need to make sure you get on one of the higher floors

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the The Radisson San Jose hotel. Breakfast was delicious. The dinners that I had at the hotel were memorable. The front desk and dining staff were exceptional. I highly recommend the Radisson San Jose hotel.

Good hotel in general. Nice staff who solved any issues we had. Close to city center. The only negative point to mention is that if you are in a room next to cafeteria/bar you mihht suffer the noise.

Hotel was perfect for the start of our tour around Costa Rica. An airport pick up organised by the hotel worked seamlessly    The staff were always at hand to help with any questions that we had.

Great location , the pool and jacuzzi are amazing. Older hotel but the maintenance is great. The restaurant and cafeteria (breakfast) food are amazing.

Lovely place but confusing to find your way around. I arrived after midnight and no porter to show the way. Great breakfast but coffee machine in my room not working!

Hotel is good and the rest is good, all is good

An old hotel with high ceiling and spacious room. The included breakfast is better than I expected, there are a few hot dishes. Not much around the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for one night at the beginning of our 11 day Costa Rica trip and then for our last night in Costa Rica to ensure easy transfers to and from the airport. The breakfast is great! Pool area and outside spaces were lovely even with all the squirrels eyeing our snacks. The rooms are large (high ceilings and bathtubs!!). Location is decent as it’s a 10-15 minute Uber down to the city center and cool coffee shop neighborhood. Very safe and clean. Staff were great.

Excellent hotel located close to downtown San Jose and major Bus Terminal. Friendly, knowledgable staff and excellent service. WIFI, breakfast and parking included. Onsite restuarant and Bar. Swimming pool and hot tub and also Large Gym.

Very nice Hotel conveniently located close to downtown San Jose. Major bus station 2 minutes from hotel. 30 minutes to SJO Airport. Clean,comfortable,great food,great staff,great amenities including Gym, pool, hot-tub restaurant, bar, travel agent and convenience store. Safe and secure and free onsite parking. WIFI throughout hotel.

I like this place, works for us specifically because it’s close the bus station
