Great place, but let's be fair, we went there week days and we were the only ones. Took a day tour, and they even have discount for seniors.....great buffet, they even have a bar and a coffee shop.... everything is very clean, (even the toilet for day tour guests is very clean)...... the beach in front is very clean.

Company Outing 130 persons, overnight Food: Dinner - 5 stars Food: Breakfast - 2 stars Their food is buffet by default and you are not given a choice. Rooms - kinda old but spacious. 3 stars Lighting is dark. Water supply is poor. CR is outdated. Toiletries are provided. Stairs going up is risky because of the sand and it’s wet. Rooms have access to beach and pool. Beds are not comfortable. Ventilation is not consistent — too cold, then later too warm. Room security is poor; they just give you 1 key vs 6 persons in a room. Pools are 5 stars. Up to 5 feet, available kiddie pools, segregated pools. Clean and spacious. Bar is 3 stars. Beach front event is 5 stars. Their live band is THE BEST! 5 stars. Customer Service - below 3. They don’t greet you when you meet them. Reception is also not friendly. Parking - available but cramped. Price is affordable.

A calm and tranquil environment associated with being by the sea. An exceptional and memorable experience with friends and family that goes beyond the typical beach stay. Fortunately, as we sat along the shoreline , the time when the sun starts to set, we happened to experienced a FRONT-ROW-VIEWS of an event only unique to our location, we got to witness and observe the fishermen’s activities and their catch up close. This event becomes a focal point of interest and sets the experience apart from a regular seaside friendship stories. Apart from a comfortable room with a unique balcony feature, Their facilities such as swimming pools, a high ceiling buffet food court that can accommodate large crowd, they also offer so many unique activities such as guided tours, water sports and cultural events that would surely fit to the required location for your next company team building. Considering their many years of experience in this field, the friendliness, responsiveness, and willingness to assist are their staff’s excellent service. Aside from a slight weak cell reception because of terrain location. I am satisfied and happy and I will surely be back again, coz I know, Blue Coral Resort also fulfills their ECO-TOURISM duty towards SUSTAINABILITY…

Impressive. Very attentive and friendly staff. They manage to upgrade our room, from 2 deluxe room to 1 beach front , although we don’t got the excess amount . Worth it naman. Specially yung location ng room , super relaxing!!! Mandatory payment un buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, all goods naman ang foods nila. 80% rate quality ng food nila. Madaming choices ng food.Masarap! They just need to improve the cleanliness ng toilet/shower area . A bit smelly. And for all the front desk staff and house keeping, keep up the good work, and continue being nice and friendly. High five Po!!!

We stayed here for 2 days and 1 night in a poolside family room. Room was an average and a little small for 10 persons. Beds are comfy but the window type aircon was super noisy. The resort offered buffet dinner, breakfast and lunch. Food was 3/5, they should improve the quality and taste of their food. Resort location was good. Staffs were very accommodating, they were all nice. Pool was also nice and big, and they also had a poolside bar. Overall we enjoyed our quick family vacation.

Just spent 5 wonderful days in the blue crystal resort. Good accommodation, great location next to sea, most of all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Would definitely visit Puerto Galera again and stay at the blue crystal. 10 out of 10.

3d2n, 4adults1child, deluxe room 2nd floor The bad and very ugly: -Cleanliness: super bad. Mold everywhere - bathrooms, room ceiling, shower enclosure doors, balcony in rooms, table decor at eating area. Bathrooms are very dirty, mold on walls and floors. Shower curtain very short and the bathroom gets flooded everytime someone showers. Sheets and towels smelled like cheap motel linen. Weird smell in room, even after housekeeping goes over everything. Common areas (shower and toilets) are very dirty and most of the shower areas had broken doors and shower stalls. The security is also poor so even with multiple signs around, guests still smoke in the bathrooms and showers. If you are 'maselan', do not book this place. -Food: overpriced buffets, seafood served (tuna with sauce) already bad, sponge cake as dessert served for 3 straight days, lutong carinderia na nilagay sa warmer. No seafood dishes for a beach-side resort. They have guests use food stubs. I didn't bother with them and told the receptionist I wouldn't take them upon check-in. -other amenities: 2 kangaroo tables that have been neglected and need repair, darts, ping-pong table. The entertainment area would have been great if they invested in getting it fixed up. Shower area looked it came straight out of a scary movie. Even the room numbers were either missing or falling off The good: -Room set-up: 2 beds + extra mattress, with balcony, mini fridge, electric kettle, wifi, bathroom, TV. Big enough for 3 big kids (20, 14, 10) and 2 adults to share -the bar: very affordable drinks, decent bartender -the pool: water over 5 ft in some places, clean -service ok if you're the only guests: We were the only guests for a full day so the food was very good (served family style and the tuna sinigang was very good) and the service was also commendable. They can't handle a full house though. The type and quality of food was very different when they had to set up the buffets. -the view: from our room's balcony, I could see the billiards area, bar, pool, and beach It looked like an old, neglected resort. It's sad because it's in a great location and seem to be a convention area for local government officials. Hopefully the owners can fix it up. Not planning on going back though, I don't feel like I got my money's worth on the food and quality of accommodation
