We come to Morro Bay a couple times every year, and the Fireside Inn has always been reasonably priced, clean, and friendly, with a great location.

Standard motel with clean rooms, ample parking. They are located within walking distance of the harbor's many restaurants and shops. Easy check in with friendly staff.

Ken at the front desk is always friendly and walks the grounds checking on everything. We asked for a handicap room and got one. Zero noise from guests, traffic, or passersbys. Safe and well lit area.
Bathroom door didn't lock and manager offered to repair it immediately. We opted for a door stop instead and he made sure we got one quickly.
Hotel is located within easy walking distance of embarcadero, shops, and food. Catholic church and Albertson's is only a 5 minute drive away.

Great service and staff! Unit in need of full updates, minor repairs and TLC. Based on these concerns, property being across the street from a 24 hour LOUD car wash, restricted ocean view: Our "Deluxe Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Ocean View" was overpriced
