Amazing stay with our host Viktor. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet place to rest. Our dog loves it.

Cuna del Cielo is a slice of heaven, literally up the hillside with an incredible view of San Miguel de Allende. The property is gorgeous and immaculate and we so enjoyed our time sitting quietly in the warmth with a cool breeze as we gazed at the beautiful view. Our hosts, Viktor and Mark were very informative, gracious and discreet. The breakfasts provided in the mornings were unique and delicious. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property!

If you are even remotely hesitating to book this property, just do it. You will be forever pleased with your choice. This place is an amalgam of beauty, serenity, lushness, and wellness. Visit the property’s site and read the endless raves! They don’t do the place and Viktor, the host, justice. I could use very apt superlatives to describe Cuna del Cielo, but I’ll leave them to your magical experience. If you pass on staying at this brilliant escape, consider it your loss. It is truly nirvana-like.

this is one of those magical spots that you want to find in places like San Miguel. it’s always full of magic art people but particularly with this place you mix with nature and wellness in a way that makes you feel surrounded by mountains and a natural environment that with Victoe and Valencia as your hosts you will definitely make you experience something else that will make it a joy to remember!

We stayed here for 1 week for part of our honeymoon and it was the best decision to do so. We stayed in the World Loft room which is enormous yet comfortable at the same time. The main feature is a stunning huge picture window overlooking the lights of San Miguel de Allende below and the mountains in the background. Amazing sunsets every night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the furnishings low-key tasteful with beautiful wood pieces and comfy sofas. The whole house is furnished like this. There are shared spaces of terraces, a natural water pool you can swim in (natural meaning with plants and fish), a hot tub, 2 individual sauna boxes, an outdoor gym and views galore. It's very luxurious and yet comfortable and homey at the same time. There are 4 rooms and each morning there is a delicious breakfast prepared by the amazing Fabi. We loved sitting around the big live edge wood table with the other guests who were mostly all from Mexico and gave us the opportunity to meet people and practice our Spanish. The house sits above the town and is about a 15-20 minute walk to the center. It is a steep walk up and you do earn your view. We do love to walk and other than arriving with bags, walked to town and back every day. The adjacent Botanical gardens 4 minutes (walk) away is highly recommended. The town is beautiful with some amazing restaurants and architecture. Steep hills and tiny streets add to it's charm. The quality of light that it is famous for is especially enjoyed at Cuna del Cielo. We have only great memories from our stay. And not to overlook our wonderful host Victor who was very communicative and we felt welcomed into this oasis that he has created. Some details - each room has it's own private terrace. You can use the kitchen if you want to keep some food. I saw other guests ordering food and eating their dinners there. It is like a guest house, there is plenty of privacy but you also have the opportunity to interact with the other guests if you like at breakfast. Victor also arranges massages and does some health retreats. We did not partake in this as the whole experience of our stay was the recharging we needed but I would be interested in this for a different type of trip. All in all we will cherish our memories of this place for the rest of our lives.

If you want a place in San Miguel de Allende to avoid large crouds and relax, Cuna del Cielo is the perfect place for you! It's pet-friendly, ou dog loved it! Close enough to the center to visit SMA but just about far enough to have a peaceful stay, with beautiful sunsets, perfect to relax from all the stress from any city. Watch out for the cold pool/pond, it's very slippery as it's an all natural ecosystem pool, without added chlorine or quemicals, you literally swim with the fishes! The rooms are super spacious, the bed is tremendously comfortable. Make sure to bring a repellent as there are a few mosquitoes, from all the natural ecosystems and from the nearby botanical garden. All in all, 5 stars, would definitely recommend and we're already looking forward for the next time to visit!
