A beautiful place. Fabulous grounds. Lovely pools. Great staff and entertainment team. Came here last year in June and the food was okay but feel like it’s really gone downhill this year. Paella was tasteless and always stuck to the bottom. The main meals need an overhaul. I’ve never eaten out so much at an all inclusive. On a plus side the breakfast is amazing every morning that’s really the only problem with the hotel is the food a lot of people felt the same. I would love to return here as I love the place but the food would need to be better, that’s an honest opinion.

3rd visit in 9 years and overall enjoyed again. Hotel in a great position to visit places on local buses. All staff work extremely hard and the hotel is spotlessly clean, gardens and plaza area lovely to sit and enjoy a drink. The drinks for an all inclusive are very good, only negatives for us are the bedrooms which need a major update and the dining area which is more like a canteen and can get very chaotic. Overall if you get it for a good price you will love the hotel but don't pay a fortune

We’ve just come back from a week’s stay here and it was very pleasant. We arrived at the hotel at around 12:30 and our room wasn’t ready to check into, but we were given our all inclusive bands to take advantage of the bar and restaurant whilst we waited. The room was clean and ours overlooked the pool furthest from the bar, and was in a direction where we wouldn’t be hit by the sun which had pros and cons. The room didn’t come with a fridge (superior twin) which would have been handy as we had a little one and would have benefitted from storing some cool snacks in one for him but we know for next time! The food was average; it offered simplicities like pasta, chips and pizza for the kids and some exotic choices for adults, and plenty of fresh fruit. However my husband did have some raw chicken which put him off the meat for a few days. When it’s warm enough the pool closest to us offered some fun activities such as aqua gym, pool football and water carpet which both kids and adults can partake in. It was a great experience doing these and there’s some other activities hosted by the hotel staff such as yoga, mini golf, etc. However when it is raining there is limited activities for children and we did struggle when we had two days of rain. Another surprising feature was there is a coin operated washing machine and dryer which is accessible to anyone in the hotel. Definitely a great option for when you’ve run out of weather appropriate clothes! I’m going to finish the review by saying how amazing the staff are in this hotel. From the reception desk to the domestics and the dinner waiters, everyone was smiley, helpful and made our stay a great one. I’d recommend this hotel for a cheap break if you’re not planning on leaving your hotel, as there isn’t much to do in close proximity unless you’re planning to hop on a bus. We walked quite a distance to explore the surroundings but I wouldn’t call the area ‘touristy’ which was nice in some way.

Nice hotel , food okay plenty choice , would of been nice if maybe had apple crumble and custard or bread and butter pudding for a change as mainly cake selection at each meal , rooms comfortable , our balcony very small but was fine , entertainment ok shame not artist every night, bit cool having to sit outside in the evening for the stage entertainment in April, loads sunbeds various locations , not much around the area but good base for exploring, would return in the future depending on the price for all inclusive

First time to this hotel and I'm sure it won't be the last. The hotel complex is designed like a small whitewashed Spanish village. The gardens are beautiful and everywhere is spotlessly clean There are two pools and a central outdoor bar area. We found all the staff to be friendly and hardworking. We had a superior room on the ground floor of the Almeria Block which faced the larger of the two pools. This area is quieter at night as it is away from the entertainment stage. Our room was big enough to accommodate three beds and had a walk in shower. For a three star all inclusive hotel the food was absolutely fine. There was more than enough choice for even the fussy eater in our group. We definately have no complaints whatsoever.

This is such a lovely hotel. Beautiful gardens, 2 pools, very Spanish vibe ( the architecture, plants, traditional look and feel). We liked that the hotel is not too big (we don't like very high, massive hotels) - we had a nice room with terrace , very close to the pool. The food was nice. Evening entertainment was good. Very chilled atmosphere. Day time and evening kids entertainment. There is not much to do outside of the hotel tho, but the bus stops are close - you can easly get to Marbella or Puerto Banus. We also booked a Gibraltar trip. In overal I think the hotel is a great value for money. Highly recommended.

Start with the positives. Lots of sunbeds available all day. Staff work hard especially the bar staff. Fresh towels every day and rooms kept clean. Authentic Spanish courtyard in the central Lady Betty bar area with lots of flowers and shrubs. Would be good central location for golfers. Will suit families as their are good pool areas , lots of activities and is safe and more child friendly than adult. Now for the negatives. Long wait at reception to check in. If you have an early morning flight you will have to wait till after 2pm to enter your room. The food is ok for kids but the quality of main meals is not acceptable for adults. Meal times are chaotic and very busy. A lack of quality and variety of fish courses and always overcooked making the fish inedible. We booked a Deluxe twin room and paid extra, but were given a double, room 184. When I complained at reception, I was told it was not possible to change this. I will be taking this up with TUI as to why this happened and couldn't be altered , especially as I paid extra for this choice. Coffee, tea and milk not renewed when finished, so bring your own. My pet hate , smokers smoking in the designated non-smoking areas and not adhering to this.( No respect for the young children with asthma.) No-one is policing this. The bathroom smells constantly, probably to do with the drains. The shower leaks and you have to place towels to soak up the water to prevent slips or accidents. The air con was not always available to us, and when it was, it was ineffective. Getting quality sleep is an issue. Lots of noise in the early hours till 2am and then the pool maintenance guys hosing the pool area from 6.30m onwards. We will not return to this hotel. We have other favourites and will pay more to return to them.

We’ve been 3 times for a total of 5 weeks. We’ve just returned from a 2 week trip and I have to say it may be are last one as the food was so bad that we only ate 1 dinner and went out for dinner every other night of the holiday. We watched as chicken and fish were cooked from frozen. The food all tastes on nothing and the smell in the dining area would put you off fish! Are first time at the hotel the food ok but it’s gotten worse every time! I love the hotel, the staff are amazing and the entertainment is good, the animations teams show is the best of the entertainment by far. I’ve met so many friends at this hotel and everyone one has said the same thing, They won’t be back unless something drastic happens with the Food.
