My name is ignazio lucente i visited casa luz de mar on august 23 25 and 25 2024 reccomended from a friend in chicago and i was very happy to see this hotel to be in the best location on the water and the views are amazing i have been all over the world and never seen a place location like this one the natural beauty is just amazing the staff is very friendly the rooms they have balconies looking at the ocean is like being on a cruise ship it is beautiful all the rooms are brand new redone with new bathrooms and king size beds and there is a salt ocean pool that has no chlorine just amazing the food at the restaurant is deliciuos great pizza and itslien food and mexican food it is a great place also at affordable prices. Thank you Casa Luz De Mar for making my dream vacation

Good food, good friendly service, extraordinary views, what else can you ask for? The chef accommodated us and made a vegetarian pizza that had thin crust and good vegan toppings. It’s very entertaining to watch the waves and the sunset here while waiting for your pizza

We arrived on December 1st and they did not allow us to enter. Mrs. Ivonne, the owner of the place, said that there was overcrowding and SHE RESOLD OUR 2-NIGHT ACCOMMODATION EVEN THOUGH IT HAD BEEN PAID FOR. SHE DID NOT HAVE THE ATTENTION TO SHOW HER FACE OR APOLOGIZE.

It exceeded our expectations... Yvonne and Ignacio are excellent hosts. The house is on a cliff that offers spectacular views, you can rest in peace, the place is clean, they have a pool with sea water where it is nice to spend the day, the food in their restaurant is delicious, especially if you are a fan of Italian food, Ignacio and Yvonne have great seasoning and a lot of heart.
