We spent an excellent 3 night stay here. A quality boutique hotel with a very attentive hostess ( Mayang) We are nice sized room overlooking the vineyards. It was very quiet and very clean. Comfortable bed. Huge walkin shower with good water pressure. A mini fridge and a safe would be nice additions but their lack in no way diminished the pleasure of our stay. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished...it was originally a house in Mayangs family. Its full of old books and furniture, all tastefully displayed. Lots of private sitting areas. A large and well stocked honour bar. Great breakfast...orange juice, varied selection of fresh local fruits, cold meats, cheese, pastries and best coffee we have had in 3 weeks in Spain. Parking can be reserved in area just below hotel. A bit tricky to get out of and is best to have two people involved ..one to watch for oncoming traffic. Hotel is in great location...two minute walk to main square, 15 minutes to castle and the bars, restaurants (4) and several bodegas are easily reached on foot. Mayang is a warm, welcoming host and readily provided recommendations on what to do and see in the area. If you want a quality stay in the Riojo region, this is it...highly recommended.

This boutique hotel (12 rooms) is a true gem. Located in a charming typical Rioja village, the old family house was saved and refurbished by the current owner who is an architect. His wife runs the hotel and is very helpful for any information about the village, the surroundings and sights. You will enjoy a wonderful blend of refined antique furniture and tasteful modern facilities. The view from the rooms is stunning, the breakfasts are a delight (fresh fruit, juice, pastries…) We absolutely recommend this lovely place to stay…

Aux vues des avis, nous nous attendions à beaucoup mieux, surtout compte tenu du prix. Cet établissement présente des qualités certaines, en particulier sa décoration éclectique et la configuration du bâtiment. Ses salons sont cossus et le bar en self-service agréable. Mais que dire du petit-déjeuner au choix des plus éthiques, et d'une qualité qui laisse à désirer ? Aucune sorte d'œufs n'est proposée. Un seul jus de fruits, et des fruits coupés passés. Une charcuterie tranchée si finement que les chiffonnades à l'italienne ressemblent à des escalopes. De ma longue expérience en Espagne c'est bien le pire. Par ailleurs, nous avions réservé une chambre supérieure avec vue sur la montagne. Or le store est resté bloqué en position fermée. Nous libérons par courtoisie la chambre rapidement afin que le propriétaire puisse faire réparer avant les prochains occupants. Je me suis même fendu d'un ou deux conseils. Une quelconque parole d'excuse pour le désagrément ? Point du tout. 3 cafés (capsules) en libre service nous ont été facturés au prix de 2€ chaque, ainsi qu'une bouteille de vin très peu onéreuse. Nous étions stupéfaits d'un tel manque de sens du commerce. Et en parcourant des avis, je suis tombé sur un couple qui quelques jours avant notre arrivée avaient séjourné dans cet établissement. Ils avaient eu le désagrément de dormir dans des draps humides... Réponse au commentaire par le propriétaire : en ces temps pluvieux, c'est "presque inévitable" (sic) ! Autrement dit, le propriétaire ne considère pas comme anormal de dormir dans des draps humides. Tout est dit. J'ai une longue expérience du commerce et j'avoue être perplexe sur le niveau global de satisfaction. Serions-nous tombés sur un mauvais jour ?

Precioso hotel en una casa magnificamente restaurada con mucho encanto y en el centro. El desayuno muy bien y el dueño muy amable, Estuvimos dos dias y volveremos, La habitacion muy amplia y con terraza con vistas espectaculares, Hay un parking publico muy cerca con lo que dejamos el coche los dos dias. Une belle adresse dans le centre de San Vicente, à 100 m de la plaza Mayor. Chambres spécieuses, fonctionnelles et joliment décorées. Le petit déjeuner est diversifié, copieux et devrait convenir à tous les goûts. Il existe en bas un bar en libre service qui donne sur un beau jardin et les montagnes au loin. Un ascenseur à disposition pour les 5 niveaux.

Das Haus liegt recht zentral im kleinen Ort San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Ein kostenloser öffentlicher Parkplatz ist etwa 200 m vom 3- Sterne-Hotel entfernt Der Empfang durch die sehr bemühte Hotelbetreiberin war sehr freundlich; sie informierte ausführlich über die Sehenswürdigkeiten des Gebiets. Die Einrichtung des gesamten Hauses einschließlich der Zimmer mit historischen Möbeln war sehr eindrucksvoll. Alle Einrichtungsgegenstände funktionieren einwandfrei. Der TV war relativ klein und bot auch keine internationalen Programme, das WLAN funktionierte aber sehr gut. Das reichhaltige Frühstück wurde in einem sehr ansprechend dekorierten Frühstücksraum angeboten, leider erst ab 9:00 Uhr; für Durchreisende ist das Hotel deshalb nicht ganz so gut geeignet. Das Hotel kann definitiv empfohlen werden.

Un sitio maravilloso, cada rincón de la casona es único e invita a relajarse y desconectar, las habitaciones son magnificas, las camas comodísimas, y el desayuno estupendo. Mayang y Nito son muy atentos y saben aconsejarte para aprovechar tu estancia al máximo y que descubras todo lo que la zona tiene que ofrecer.
