Hotel Sandakan Reviews

The hotel is clean and tidy. Very satisfied. Service is also fast. Next time our family will stay at this hotel again if we come to Sandakan. The food is delicious too.

Hotel location is convenient. Easy to reach Little HK, San Da Gen Kopitiam and waterfront. There is no fridge in the room. Room is spaceful.

Had a pleasant experience during my stay here. Got shops and restaurants nearby walking distance.

The location is great, the hotel is old, the AC is old that it's not functioning well, the bfast is so so.. but overall is OK, just don't expect too much.. my expectations is already low prior to the check in, so it's fine

Hotel is in the center os the city with the same name, which is good for tourists arriving here for the first time. Tour operator, department store. Staff is friendly, very attentive and professional. Food in the restaurant is of high quality, fresh, good juices. This refers to breakfasts, and to dinners, specifically, to Ramadan fest dinners in the tome of my stay.. Furniture is new, towels and linen are excellent.

The hygiene was guaranteed, and the hot water pressure was excellent. The location was good, very close to the Turtle Island landing point.

Very helpful staff. The location is good. There’s a mall not far from the hotel, several coffee shops and restaurants. The best restaurant is Hal.

This hotel has an old-school charm and a fantastic location for exploring Sandakan in depth. The mosque next door marks the beginning of the Heritage Trail, and you might even spot monitor lizards along the roadside. Walking the Heritage Trail was an amazing experience!

The location was good and the staff were friendly, but the cleaning was poor and the breakfast was poor. I don't think I'll be staying here again.

Room is average because 3 star hotel, location is near to city centre. Front desk staff Ms Emma very kind, friendly and helpful. Overall is good and bedding is consider comfortable.
