Visiting South Africa after many years of absence we knew exactly where we were heading for our Johburg stopover, and Sunninghill Guest Lodge is still every bit the beauty it always was! Thank you, gorgeous people, for a warm welcome and a cosy stay!

I can definitely recommend staying at Sunninghill Guest Lodge - a true GEM in the midst of the beautiful tranquil suburb of Sunninghill. My room was spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean with a lovely view of the green garden, patio and swimming pool. The customer service received was outstanding - all the staff I dealt with really went above and beyond to ensure my stay was a 5 star experience. Breakfast options were great and they really cater for a wide variety of tastes and requests. The friendly staff were always nearby to answer any questions, and had fantastic suggestions on places to dine, shuttle services, and any other services one may need whilst travelling. So I really recommend staying here if you're looking for a fantastic setting with the most friendly and efficient staff, really getting great value for money - you will not regret booking here !

The hospitality is next level, no request is too big for this team. The manager checked in on how my stay was and even organized for a package do be delivered to me while I was out Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I would definitely come back!

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! We stayed here during our visit to Joburg, while everything at the first glance went well, they double charged us on our credit card without consent or informing us. When we went to settle the remainder payment through cash, they accepted the cash without telling us that they had already charged our credit card. Upon return to our home country when we brought this issue to their notice they kept saying they will hold it as credit for our next visit, as if we were going to make it back again anytime soon. The correspondence was extremely rude and I am still in dispute with my bank for this amount. Charging a credit card without prior permission or knowledge and then accepting cash for the same booking, refusal to help with reimbursement for the same! I am appalled at this behavior. PLEASE BEWARE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY
