For tourists like us is not idea, and is rather inconvenience if you do not drive.

The address is relatively remote, like a rural area, but it is quiet and suitable for sleeping. There is a movie theater and restaurants within a ten-minute walk, and the one at XO is good.
The twin room is a bit narrow, about 80cm.
The guy at the front desk is very nice and provides warm service.

We stayed in a standard double room during a trip through Europe. The staff is very kind and helpful. Very good service. The prices are ok: €16/person for unlimited breakfast in the morning. The simple beds were very comfortable. There rooms were in oristine condition upon arrival. The bathroom is equipped with soap, body wash, shampoo and hair conditionner. There was a coffee machine with cups and glasses in the room.

It was a last minute decision but certainly not a wrong one. The hotel is located outside Steyr so car (or a taxi) is absolutely necessary, however, there is plenty of room to park the car. The rooms are moderate size but offer everything one needs for a short stay. There is a bar on the groundfloor (going for a drink to Steyr is not a realistic option, too far) where breakfast is served.
