Beach Street Inn and Suites

What a great location, that walks you straight to the beach. Rooms were clean, and the shower was gigantic. Rooms next to the pool do get a little noisy because of families, but it wasn’t a big issue at all. The employees are really quite friendly. Even though it’s a little bit pricier than other hotels, definitely because the location, it was well worth it. We hope to come back again soon.

Waiting in line for coffee was an annoyance but still didn’t diminish the luxury feel of my stay. The largest inconvenience was the gates after 10. My first time someone was waiting there right away, but the second time I had to exit my vehicle and call from the buzzer to no answer. I only got voicemail. Eventually got in, but I was very uncomfortable in that dark area by myself, and it took long enough for someone else to pull in behind me. I appreciated the super convenient filtered water and laundry amenities that I wish were standard everywhere. I asked for a printed receipt, but their printer was down and they assured me I’d get an email, which I haven’t. Trip.com does not seem to have registered that I completed my stay, so there is something iffy among their booking and trip.com’s ledger.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff! The coffee, hot chocolate, snowcones, & popcorn were a hit. Pool and hot tub needs some love. Not a fan being charged to park in a place we have stayed at over the last forty years. BTW, ******* did NOT include those parking fees on my bill or that BSI charges parking, $20+per day! Other than that surprise, excellent time with the grands! Enjoy! Ty Amy!!

Room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom is quite large. It’s nice to have the laundry, bottle filling station and the little included cafe at guest services. The location is a close walk (5 minutes) to the boardwalk. It’s not a fancy place but it’s a comfortable and welcoming to drop in for a night or two.

As always everything was wonderful at The Beach Suites. I did get caught outside after the gates closed one night but was about to get in quickly. I would suggest that the might check the mattresses as mine was a little uncomfortable.

View was amazing! Right across the street from wharf, Boardwalk, shopping and 4 restaurants! It’s great watching the volleyball players across the street on the beach. This is the only motel we stay at when in Santa Cruz.

Staff was super nice. A bit of a bummer that you have to pay for parking at your own hotel but the location to the pier and beach is great.
