Very old fashioned hotel, dirty and dark. The hotel is absolutely boiling and the air con is non existent, just a fan blowing hot air into the room. Not even a bottle of water in the fridge for when we arrived. Floor boards lifting up in the room and skirting boards come off so can you see dusty concrete. Faeces was even left in our bidet! Not sure how that was missed. I really don’t know how this is a 4 star hotel.

I booked this hotel near the train station to participate in a volunteer program during my summer vacation. I thought I'd try walking from Lamezia Terme International Airport, but halfway through the walk, the road became so narrow that I thought, "This is impossible," so I turned back and took a taxi. I don't speak Italian, and I told the taxi driver I could speak English, but I remember him talking to me endlessly. You should expect to be overcharged. In my case, it was 16 euros, which seemed like an exorbitant price for that distance. That's about it for the location. Also, the train station and bus stop are right in front of the hotel. This was a huge help, and although I stayed for two nights in total (for my arrival and departure), the room was almost too big! The free water was also a nice touch. The breakfast was a small buffet, but the staff from the shop next door made me a cappuccino, which was great.

great place to stay- has cafe & restaurant right opposite main train station (beware there are three!) old building well maintained with efficient lift. huge room on 2nd floor overlooked station but wasn’t noisy. tea & coffee (no milk) fridge with water big bathroom (but no hot water on 2nd morning which, when reported, was immediately dealt with) gigantic breakfast selection. restaurant open nightly with huge portions competitively priced- thoroughly recommend
