I think this hotel has the best egg tarts in Setúbal. There are many restaurants nearby and a park in front of the hotel, so it’s great for a walk!

Stayed for a week with friends visiting wineries in the area. Although the hotel was busy with coach parties for much of that time, the staff were cheerful and helpful. The bar/restaurant staff in the evening made sure we were well looked after and gave lots of advice on local wines and restaurants. We found the meals in the restaurant to be good value for money and delicious. There were a couple of minor housekeeping issues - but nothing which would spoil anyone's stay, and these were obviously because the housekeeping staff were very busy. The buffet breakfast was amazing and kept us going until late afternoon. Thank you for a lovely experience!

generally happy: - reasonable size room, clean and very good sound proofing. - breakfast was also good throughout the week - nicely situated although a 10+ mins walk to center of town for most restaurants - no parking to speak about but opposite by the park there were always spots for our van - and reasonably priced. x house keeping was very random - no refill of supplies - coffee, nuts etc or water past one bottle at start of week. its really easy to work to a room checklist but this was not happening.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at over many years in Europe. My opinion is not because of a spectacular setting or historic site but a very nice hotel only a short walk to the centre of town and right beside a park. The centre of town was surprising as it was very nice and vibrant. Our room was extremely large, there was a third bed we did no need. Tons of amenities like toothbrush…. Very clean and bright. A good breakfast with lots of choice. They helped store our bike for us. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Clean but the cleaner touches your stuff, moves things around, absolute no go for me. Restaurant is relatively expensive and bad. Service is terrible I had to get up and go to the waitress to order, then waited 45mins to get a steak that was well done and very small - not what I ordered... However, the room service burger I had was good. The girl that did the check in was impolite as well. Very loud rooms, if someone on the same floor is awake, everyone is. Room size is average, kinda what you expect from a 3 star place. Breakfast is minimal. One sort of cheese one type of salami, one muesli. Was forced to pay upfront for the room, which is an insult to everyone traveling business and actually first time I ever did. How can this place have 4 stars? More realistic would be 2. If your company tools offers a different choice, take it.

This hotel is great. Location halfway between the train station and the old town square was perfect. Room was spotless, interesting view of the football stadium! Breakfast was plentiful. Bar service was very friendly, João, the barman was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Really good experience, great facilities all around, great care and attention by the staff members. Booked it the day before my wedding, staff said yes to every single one of our requests. Breakfeast was really good too. Really clean all around, couldn’t have asked for more, will definitely be returning.

Cleaner stole my AirPods worth £250. The cleaner still works there as well. Hotel were useless in providing any sort of information on what was going on. If you have valuable belongings, I would be very concerned leaving them in the room whilst away. Apart from that, I’ve been to many melia‘s around the world, and was by far the worst in terms of facilities & breakfast. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

There is nothing positive I can say about this hotel or the area. What you read online is not what you get. Definitely not a 4 star. Go to the Vincci ponte de Ferro to see what 4 star is. The area is like being in a developing country with very limited restaurant venues to try
