Towels were not changed during the entire stay. Shower door was missing. 
No hot water. Small stains on the sheets.

3 star hotel in the town of Santa Maria, Sal. Bit out of the way and requires a taxi or a walk to find the better parts of town. The surrounding areas are run down in parts and not so pleasant, but appeared safe. Restaurant and dining areas near the small pool are a bonus and food prices are reasonable for the money paid, but not so cheap as outside. They do however accept both cash and card. My room had two single beds but only came with a thin top sheet, no extra blankets, you may want to ask for something extra Hot water worked but took time to come through. Friendly and helpful staff, this place is good for a base Snacks in the afternoon and full menu after 6pm. Ribs with chips were nice. Breakfast was basic with little hot and limited meat content, but as expected from similar priced hotels

Very poor. Water supply iffy. A hot shower unlikely. No kettle in the room, fridge not chilled, safety deposit box doesn’t work. Deadlock to room door broken so I have put a chair up against the door - this was not the hotel we had booked. We were moved here being told our previous 4* one was fully booked. I am debating whether this is even a 2*. The positive reviews to this place must be fake.

Room: Clean with nice bed. Aircon did not work, and even that we notified the staff, nothing was done to fix it. Bathroom: Only hot water in 2 out of 7 days. Rest of the days we had cold showers. WiFi: OK Restaurant: Breakfast was very poor. Buffet was not refilled and there was lot of empty plates on the buffet most of the time. So even that we have the breakfast included in the room payment, we had to go to another restaurant near by, to get some decent breakfast instead of just cake. That happened 3 mornings. Staff: Ignorant. Didn't care. Room and food was all pre-paid, so why bother about the wellbeing of the guests?

Not a good place to be in Sal. The water comes and goes. The breakfast is poor. The Hotel is in a bad neighbourhood where you don’t feel safe. If you are going to Sal, choose another hotel. This is not a place to have a nice vacation. Every room have some issues, and the management do nothing to fix it.

Myself and my partner stayed here for 10 nights in June, and everything was just perfect. The room was spotless clean, staff was just amazing, very good location close to the beach, and price very good.
