2 couples loved our 3 day stay. Jose and Helene made us feel at home in their lovely estate. Great views and walks . Breakfast excellent. Perfect break from urban sightseeing.

The property has been in the family for four generations.It felt like we were staying in a part of history and privileged to be able to share their home. You actually have the entire house and part of the vineyard to enjoy your stay.The hosts were gracious and attentive. We were sad to leave and wished we had booked a few nights more.

Beautiful spot in the Duoro
Lovely property with stunning views and close to Peso do Régua.
Shared areas are very well appointed and comfortable. Pool looked great but too cool to swim.

It was an amazing stay at Casa do Salgueiral. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Plus the beautiful views and lovely breakfast which made our stays even better. We will definitely come back next time if we visit Portugal again.
