Rio Hostel Buritaca

Rio hostel is a really nice place with lovely people ! It’s music is sensational and the food is really good. Thank you especially to all the team and the wonderful volunteers!!! rio hostel is the place to be in the north of colombia. the parties, unlimited food options and fantastic activities are unmatched to any hostel i’ve been to! special thank you to all the bar, hostel and restaurant crew along with the unforgettable volunteers that i’ve made incredible connections with. thank you to tomer, guy, hayden, omer, michael (carpenter), taimour, sarah, cleo, james, cria and zeph !

All the staff at El Rio have been really welcoming. Yoyo has answered all of our questions and has been so helpful! The food at the hostel has been delicious, there’s a large selection. There’s loads of cool activities on every day. It’s been a really social experience and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms and amenities were fantastic. We’d definitely recommend!

Walking through those gates I knew this was the place for me. i really enjoyed my stay which was made better by lovely Ben at the bakery who made an incredible cheesecake and iced coffee. the bar was also a lovely experience where i had a tasty espresso martini made by Fred not to mention henry’s delicious musko miel. the activités where very fun Zepthy definitely brought the energy

Sophia and Kay were amazing and very helpful. We love el Rio hostel they have a great vibe and the parties are so fun! The food and drink are cheap and delicious and the staff are so friendly. Made so many new friends would come back to volunteer one day !

Amazing hostel, hight recommend. Sophia and Kay were very helpful at the front desk. The hostel was very clean tidy, the food was delicious as was the cheap beers. Lots of good music and great DJs . I would also highly recommend volunteering.
