Santa Monica Pier Apartments

Apartment is a short walk from the beach and Santa Monica Pier. However level of cleanliness was very poor. The bed sheets were not very clean and bathroom had some hairs in it. Outdoor balcony chairs and table were falling apart and rusty. Also no elevator available so carrying heavy luggage’s up flights of stairs was exhausting.

We really enjoyed our stay at Santa Monica Pier Apartments. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the pier and beach, and there were plenty of food options within easy walking distance, which was really convenient. We were expecting a beach view, but our apartment was at the front of the building and looked out towards the road instead. This wasn’t a problem for us, and the apartment itself was very bright and airy. It had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, table and chairs, bathroom, little laundry and comfortable bed. There isn’t a lounge area, but as we were only staying for a couple of nights, that was fine. We also really enjoyed having the balcony. The white curtains looked lovely and let in plenty of natural light during the day. The only downside was that they didn’t block out the streetlight at night, so the apartment was quite bright while sleeping. Some blockout curtains or blinds would make a big difference. The hosts were great and responded very quickly whenever we had a question. Overall, we found the apartment to be clean, comfortable, well located and good value for money, and we would happily stay again.
