This stay exceeded my expectations; overall, I was extremely satisfied. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making the check-in process quick and smooth. The room was spacious and bright, with impeccable cleanliness down to the smallest details, and the comfortable bedding ensured a good night's sleep. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to get around and shop. Although check-out was a bit busy, it didn't detract from my overall positive impression. The hotel's location is pretty good, within walking distance to Santa Monica Beach. The room was reasonably clean, but the facilities weren't great – the lights and curtains were broken, and the decor was very old. I wouldn't really recommend it.

Better and bigger than expected, with a great location. The only downside is that it's not very soundproof, the room is a bit small, and the facilities are a bit dated. However, the service was excellent, everyone was very welcoming and enthusiastic. Parking is available for $41.30 per night.

The room was very clean and tidy, and it was obvious that it had been recently renovated. The location is excellent. It was very quiet at night, so we slept well, and the area felt safe throughout our stay. Everything was within easy walking distance. The beach, the Ferris wheel, shops, and restaurants were all nearby, making it a very convenient place to stay. The only downside was that the elevator felt quite old, and the carpet on the stairs and in the hallway outside the rooms looked worn and not very clean. Although the room itself was spotless, these common areas could use some attention. If the hotel could renovate or upgrade the elevator and replace or refresh the hallway carpets, it would make the overall guest experience even better. With these improvements, this hotel would be an even more wonderful place to stay.

This hotel has a charming retro vibe. The lobby staff were very clear in their explanations and even offered luggage storage. The room was clean and comfortable, with complimentary drinking water and excellent water pressure in the shower. The elevators were also very convenient. The hotel is super close to the subway, right next to a shopping mall with plenty of dining options, and the pedestrian street is just behind it. It's also a short walk to the beach, so the location is absolutely fantastic.

Great location, right by the sea, but there's no parking. Out of the 10 hotels we stayed at during our 15-day trip, this was the only one where the front desk didn't greet us, and no one in the lobby bothered to say hello. It was also the only place that had a 4 PM check-in, and when we arrived two hours early, our room wasn't ready, so we had to leave our luggage in the lobby. There were staff both inside and outside the door, but no one offered to help with our 7 or 8 bags, so we didn't even get a chance to tip.
