Courtyard Santa Monica

The location is super convenient, right by a subway station, and just a few minutes' walk to the mall and pedestrian street. The beach is also within walking distance. The hotel itself is reasonably clean, but it can't quite compare to hotels of the same price point and brand back home in China. There's also a supermarket close by.

The room was advertised to accommodate 4 people, but it only had one 1.5-meter bed.

The hotel was close to Santa Monica Beach and the room was clean. They upgraded our room, but there seemed to be a miscommunication between staff, as we waited for over 30 minutes at the front desk.

Great, metro opposite, bike rental opposite, daily cleaning, coffee and tea in the room with daily replenishment.

Even though it's a Courtyard hotel, it's located in the city center, and there's a Trader Joe's right across the street, which made it very convenient. It's not a very crowded area at night, but there's a coin laundry, so it's good for long-term stays. I think the location and value for money were good. It has the bare necessities you wouldn't find in a hotel, so I recommend it.
