Staff super helpful from start, room nice and clean, location is great (walking distance from SM pier)… the wifi provided for free is enough for what you have to do on a regular day (option to upgrade to fast for a fee) valet parking available for $45 a day ( the area charges around $30 per day for public parking, so its a good deal as you can go in an out as many times as you can)

Stayed here for 3 nights as a group of 4, once checked in was given a room with 4 bunk beds so all had our own bunk bed. Usual thing when checking in, you have to pay resort fee's so bare that in mind. Room was what to expect for the price you pay. If you want to keep your luggage stored once checked out it's $5 per person to store your luggae and $2 for a padlock. Able to use the shower's etc once checked out if needed before you fly out.

The most caring people I have ever encountered. Upon arrival from AUS at 8.30 am my phone battery was flat and my bank travel Mastercard card wasn’t working so I was unable to pay the taxi driver. I was travelling solo and hadn’t slept in 36 hours so I was stressed and barely lucid when I walked in to the hotel. Lucia at front desk took care of things for me. We got my phone working, got the cab driver paid then she called house keeping and organised a room to be cleaned ASAP so I could check in early. I was in my room in bed by 10am thanks to her. After a lovely afternoon out and about, the next morning I woke up vomiting and running a fever. They don’t have room service so the front desk staff brought anti-nausea drugs and water up to my room within 3 minutes of me calling. They offered to phone and check in on me throughout the day as they knew I was travelling alone. The next morning when I checked out at 5.30am to get to LAX I got in my Uber and as it was about to leave the woman on front desk came running out, stopped us from leaving and said to me “you said your Uber’s a Nissan, this isn’t a Nissan, you should get out of the car”. It turned out a previous guest had taken my Uber. Once we realised this, the driver of the Uber I was in would not take me, told me to leave his vehicle and get my bags out of his car. As I had a plane to catch and was worried I would miss it, the same front desk lady rang me a cab which arrived in minutes. If you are a solo traveller STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. To top it all off Lucia didn’t charge me for early check in; she said given how stressful getting there had been, it was the least she could do to help. Gifts from God and great beds to boot!

Opposite the road is the beach and the sea, the service is thoughtful and thoughtful, the housekeeper found that we have a lot of fruit in the process of moving luggage, and specially moved a mini refrigerator for us. Bottled water is free to take, coffee is free to drink, and the overnight car only charges one parking fee.

This place is great it’s been remodeled beautifully. Great location less than 2 blocks from the pier and all the great restaurants. Beds were very comfortable. This place is close to everything. People that own it are super nice. It is an older hotel but it is a great little gem. The price for the room was very reasonable also I highly recommend And tell them Carol Ann sent you Have a great time at this little gem! I can only imagine all the people that drove Route 66 and ended up staying right here. I’m sure this place is a piece of that history
